Hello foodies !

Khichdi is a healthy food which we all love to have in dinner. This is a quick and healthy option to have. And Whoever likes khichdi would not want to waste it either. For this, make khichdi Paratha ( indian bread) is best to have another complete meal for breakfast which can be like a brunch.

To make khichdi Paratha ( bread) we need khichdi, wheat flour and some herbs. Just combine all things , knead the dough and make Paratha using oil or butter. And enjoy one more healthy and delicious recipe of khichdi. You can also add gram flour, if you want to have this like a thepla.

In our home we all love to have khichdi and khichdi paratha. Even sometimes i made extra khichdi to make this partaha. We called khichiya to this paratha in our local language. This is easy to make and great to taste. Everyone, from adults to children, likes this.

INGREDIENTS ✅

  • Khichdi/leftover khichdi 1 bowl
  • Wheat flour 2 bowl
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • Ginger green chilli paste 1 tsp
  • Carom seeds 1/3 tsp
  • Garam masala (optional)

PROCESS ✅

STEP 1 :

First take leftover khichdi or khichdi. Or you can make khichdi specially for this.

Now in a mixing bowl add wheat flour and mix all herbs in it. Khichdi already has salt in it so add salt and other spices accordingly .

Also add oil in it , and mix all well. Now add khichdi in it and again give it a good mix.

Now knead a dough with the water. To kned the dough you need less water than normal.

Now apply a few drops of oil to soften the dough and keep it covered for 10-15 minutes.

STEP 2 :

Now at one side heat the tawa and on the other side make equal size balls from the dough like this . And roll out each balls with the help of rolling pin using wheat flour as dust.

Now place that roti on the hot tawa and cook it from both side using oil. Spread the oil or butter and cook till it turn golden brown and you see small bubbles like this.

Your khichdi Paratha or khichiye is ready. Place it on a plate and get ready all partha like this.

Now Enjoy it with green chilli or any types of pickle.
