Por acá en Venezuela, la situación en estos últimos dos días no ha sido fácil para nosotros. A pesar de esta situación, decidí caminar para no perder mi ritmo y mi constancia. Hoy quiero compartirles cómo fueron mis entrenamientos de caminatas bajo la luna llena, que inicio en este año, está resplandeciente y realmente hermosa, tengo por seguridad que su luz me ilumina y me ayuda en mis metas en este año 2026.

Hello, my beautiful people of #hive and @fulldeportes, happy first Sunday of the month and the year, many blessings to all. Here in Venezuela, the situation these last two days hasn't been easy for us. Despite this, I decided to walk so as not to lose my rhythm and consistency. Today I want to share with you how my full moon walking workouts went, which I started this year. It's radiant and truly beautiful, and I'm certain that its light illuminates me and helps me achieve my goals in 2026.
Ayer, a pesar de la situación país, anduvimos mi familia desde temprano angustiados y en zozobras. Mis hijos con mi esposo fueron a que los Chinos, el único supermercado abierto; los demás estaban cerrados, debíamos abastecernos en comida, para estar más tranquilos. Según ellos, las personas del pueblo, al igual que el resto del país, salieron a comprar artículos de primera necesidad. Pues claro, por aquí la cosa estaba más tranquila, pero llenos de mucha incertidumbre y miedo. Gracias a Dios que nuestros familiares en la capital, Miranda, La Guaira y Aragua, se encontraban bien.

Yesterday, despite the situation in the country, my family and I were anxious and worried from early morning. My children and my husband went to the Chinese supermarket, the only one open; the others were closed. We needed to stock up on food to feel more at ease. According to them, people in town, like the rest of the country, went out to buy essential items. Of course, things were calmer here, but we were still filled with uncertainty and fear. Thank God our relatives in the capital, Miranda, La Guaira, and Aragua were safe.
Mi esposo salió por la noche con mi hija Sofía a que la suegra; todo estaba en orden por la calle, la policía andaba patrullando por las comunidades. Los demás en casa estábamos horneando panes rellenos; espero pronto compartirles la receta. Llamé a mi esposo cuando terminamos, que íbamos para que mi suegra a llevar pan y que nos esperara. Mientras César y Abrahán se acomodan, inicié mi caminata en la casa, dando vueltas alrededor. Cuando estuvieron listos, nos fuimos comiendo un trozo de pan cada uno. Las calles estaban completamente solas y reinaba a esa hora un silencio abrumador; daba hasta miedo.

My husband went out that evening with my daughter Sofia to visit my mother-in-law; everything was fine on the street, the police were patrolling the neighborhoods. The rest of us at home were baking stuffed bread rolls; I hope to share the recipe with you soon. I called my husband when we finished to tell him we were going to take some bread to my mother-in-law and that he should wait for us. While Cesar and Abrahan got settled, I started pacing around the house. When they were ready, we each ate a piece of bread. The streets were completely deserted, and an overwhelming silence reigned at that hour; it was almost eerie.
Al llegar a casa de mi suegra, saludamos, le dimos el pan y al ratito nos regresamos; fuimos más que todo para que Sofía y mi esposo no se vinieran solos por allí; que ya eran más de las 11 de la noche, no podíamos estar tranquilos. De regreso caminamos más rápido; queríamos estar en casa lo más pronto posible; ya iban a ser las 12 de la noche. Gracias a Dios llegamos bien. En cuanto al recorrido total, fue de 3.25 kilómetros.

When we arrived at my mother-in-law's house, we said hello, gave her the bread, and then headed back. We went mainly so that Sofía and my husband wouldn't have to walk back alone; it was already past 11 p.m., and we couldn't feel safe. On the way back, we walked faster; we wanted to be home as soon as possible; it was almost midnight. Thank God we arrived safely. The total distance was 3.25 kilometers.
Hoy, después de venir de la playa, nos arreglamos, cenamos, reposamos y nos acomodamos para ir a Los Apartamentos a visitar a mi sobrina Aurora; ayer cuando llegamos estaba dormida, debía ir hoy, ya que mañana se iría para el estado Anzoátegui. Así que nos vinimos caminando desde nuestra casa toda la familia, menos Abrahán, que había ido a jugar con los amigos fútbol. Lo que pude notar en este recorrido por el pueblo de Marigüitar las personas ya están en la calle, como que no estuviera pasando nada; hasta unas ventas de comidas estaban ofreciendo sus servicios y había bastantes clientes en él. Me quedé más tranquila al ver las calles concurridas. Sofía y Julio se fueron para que la mamá. César se ofreció a acompañarme hasta culminar un poco más de 3 kilómetros. Después de haberlo logrado, nos unimos a Sofía, Sebastián, Aurora y mi esposo, que nos estaban esperando en el boulevard; allí estuvimos un buen rato y nos fuimos para que su mamá. En total recorrí 3.16 kilómetros.

Today, after coming back from the beach, we got ready, had dinner, rested, and settled in to go to the apartments to visit my niece Aurora. She was asleep when we arrived yesterday, so I had to go today since she was leaving for Anzoátegui state tomorrow. So, the whole family walked from our house, except for Abrahán, who had gone to play soccer with his friends. What I noticed on this walk through the town of Marigüitar was that people were already out on the streets, as if nothing was happening; even some food vendors were open and there were quite a few customers. I felt more at ease seeing the busy streets. Sofía and Julio went to see her mother. César offered to walk with me for a little over 3 kilometers. After we reached the end, we joined Sofía, Sebastián, Aurora, and my husband, who were waiting for us on the boulevard. We stayed there for a while and then went to see her mother. In total, I walked 3.16 kilometers.
Ya llevo mi quinto día consecutivo en esta semana en mis entrenamientos, ya llevo acumulado 24.73 kilómetros, me alegra mucho mantenerme y seguir adelante con mis entrenamientos, espero seguir así está semana que viene, aunque no prometo aumentar kilómetros, pero si mantenerme caminando todos los días. I'm already on my fifth consecutive day of training this week, and I've accumulated 24.73 kilometers. I'm so happy to be keeping up and moving forward with my training. I hope to continue like this next week, although I'm not promising to increase the distance, but I will keep walking every day. I'm feeling more and more confident in myself.
