It's almost December 24th, and I've been so looking forward to Christmas, but it's going by so fast; there are only a few days left until the end of the year. While the days go by, I continue to have the opportunity to enjoy these days with my children; this time it was my second son, Abraham's, who happily accompanied me to do some Christmas shopping.

Hola, padres y madres de esta hermosa comunidad de @motherhood. Ya casi 24 de diciembre, tanto que deseaba que fuera Navidad y tan rápido que se va; ya faltan pocos días para que termine este año. Mientras los días pasan, yo sigo teniendo la oportunidad de disfrutar estos días con mis hijos; en esta salida le tocó el turno a mi segundo hijo, Abrahán, que gustosamente me acompañó a hacer algunas compras navideñas.

To be more precise, it was this past Friday the 18th. I've already told you that I like to shop in Cumaná, especially at the Hiper Galería Traki shopping center. While we were doing some shopping at Mundo Total, Abrahán liked a shirt, so I took the opportunity to buy it for him and the whole family. Since our finances were already tight and payday was still a ways off, I decided to try the credit card that store offers; it was quite easy to use. I'll share my experience with you another time.

Para ser más exacta, fue este pasado viernes 18. Ya les he contado que me gusta hacer las compras en Cumaná, más en el centro comercial Hiper Galería Traki. Mientras estábamos haciendo algunas compras en Mundo Total, a Abrahán le gustó una camisa, así que aproveché para comprársela a él y a toda la familia. Como ya las finanzas estaban débiles y la quincena lejos, decidí probar el creditotal que ofrece ese comercio; fue bastante fácil de usar; en otra oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes cómo fue mi experiencia.
After making our purchase, we enjoyed the performances at the mall. They were presenting plays and dances for Christmas, as well as carols sung by musical groups. We enjoyed the show for over an hour and a half, and it was quite entertaining. It's important to me that my children experience the cultural diversity and traditions of our community; this helps them develop for life and gain new experiences that may be of interest to them in the future.

Después de haber realizado nuestra compra, nos deleitamos con las presentaciones que se están realizando en dicho centro comercial; en esa oportunidad estaban presentando obras teatrales y baile de danzas con motivo de la Navidad, así como cantos de villancicos de grupos musicales. Estuvimos disfrutando más de una hora y media de espectáculo, que estuvo bastante entretenido. Para mí es importante que mis hijos disfruten de la diversidad cultural y tradiciones que se llevan a cabo en nuestro contexto; así se van formando para la vida y adquiriendo nuevas experiencias que pueden en el futuro ser de su interés.
After running around the Traki Hypermarket so much, we were exhausted and took a moment to sit down, rest, and chat. While we did, we enjoyed a delicious snack we had just bought at Mundo Total. That cookie was so yummy! It's a shame I can't have too many sweets; I was happier than a little kid eating candy 😁. My son was even happier; he has a huge sweet tooth and loves coffee like no other.

De tanto andar de aquí para allá en la Hiper Galería Traki, estábamos agotados y nos dimos un tiempo para sentarnos, descansar y charlar; mientras lo hacíamos, disfrutábamos de un rico snack que acabamos de comprar en Mundo Total. Esa galleta estaba riquísima, lástima que no puedo abusar de los dulces; estaba más contenta que niña chiquita comiendo dulces 😁. Mi hijo más, es más dulcero y amante del café como ninguno.
That day, we truly had a wonderful time, and above all, we shared and strengthened our mother-son bond. Of all my children, Abraham is the one who most resembles me, both physically and in character; sometimes we're like oil and water when our personalities clash 🤭; we understand each other perfectly and know how to handle it when this happens. What we must do, as parents, is respect and value the personalities of each of our children; each one is unique and incomparable.

Ese día, realmente la pasamos excelente y sobre todo compartimos y reforzamos nuestro vínculo de madre e hijo. De todos mis hijos, Abrahán es el que más se parece a mí, tanto en lo físico como en carácter; a veces parecemos agua y aceite cuando nuestros caracteres se encuentran 🤭; nos entendemos a la perfección y sabemos lidiar cuando esto sucede.
