Anyway, I wished so much to return to the beach that it ended up happening. What I mean is that literally in a moment, I was in the car with my mother and suddenly I appeared on the shore of San Fernando beach. That's right… I teleported. That’s how I awakened my power.
When it happened, I couldn’t even believe what had occurred, but I was terrified because I was alone. I still wonder how she must have reacted… Oh yes, in case you’re wondering, I never saw her again after that day. I accidentally went thousands of kilometers away and spent years trying to get back home on my own, it wasn’t until I mastered my superpower that I managed to return home and by then… it was already too late.

I can go anywhere, any known place or one I’ve heard of, and I don’t have to walk all the way—it’s as incredible as a magic trick. I would go to a supermarket, take whatever I wanted, and leave without paying. Yes, I was a thief, but I didn’t care because no one could catch me.
I just do “Poof” and suddenly I’m in another country. But eventually, that lifestyle became boring. When you get used to traveling frequently, an immense world feels small and it becomes very hard to stay unnoticed.
A superpower like mine was bound to make international news, so the police and entire governments want to catch me to lock me up in a lab, but unfortunately for them, I am very slippery. But playing cat and mouse all the time gets tedious. That’s why I started my own business—my venture is my own gift, because if celebrities can profit from their talent, I can do the same.
While I was trying to flirt in a bar in Dallas, Texas, this girl whose name I forget told me she would pay anything to visit France. And at that moment I had a brilliant idea: I took her hand and “Poof” I took her to Paris. We had a date at the Eiffel Tower and I didn’t return her calls because I was working on my own travel agency.
It was all about public relations, I simply started networking with influential people, made contacts with millionaire daughters and told them I could take them on vacation wherever they wanted without having to travel by plane or boat.
The business started as a huge success, and I used the money I earned to gradually raise the bar. Giving rich people the vacation of their dreams was a piece of cake, but people started contacting me for more complicated things, like helping immigrants cross borders, see… Teleporting several people is very exhausting, but money is money.

Yo… Era un niño muy molesto e hiperactivo, de esos que no paran de moverse a pesar de que les gritan: “¡Quédate quieto y guarda silencio!” porque hacia todo lo contrario.
Da igual, Aquella noche veníamos de unas vacaciones yo le pedí insistentemente a mi madre mientras conducía que volviéramos a la playa, que le diera la vuelta al volante para que las vacaciones continuaran un poco más, como era de esperar, ella se negó una y otra vez, y como no conseguía lo que quería, hice un berrinche. Le gritaba: “¡Quiero ir a la playa! ¡Quiero estar en la playa!” y no se si fue por mi estado de ánimo o por no lo sé, estaba molesto, pero era una rabieta infantil, nada de lo que decía lo decía en serio… O eso es lo que recuerdo.
Da igual, desee tanto volver a la playa que termino pasando, lo que quiero decir es que literalmente de un momento a otro, estaba en el auto con mi madre y de pronto aparecí en la orilla de la playa de San Fernando. Así es… Me teletransporte. Así fue como desperté mi poder.
Cuando eso paso, ni siquiera podía creer lo que había pasado, pero estaba aterrado porque estaba solo. Aun me sigo preguntando como habrá reaccionado… Ah sí, por si te lo preguntas, no volví a verla después de ese día. Me fui por accidente a miles de kilómetros de distancia y pase años tratando de volver a casa por mis propios medios, no fue hasta que domine mi superpoder que logre volver a mi hogar y para entonces… Ya era demasiado tarde.
Perdón pero… Ya no quiero seguir hablando del pasado, pero te alegrara saber que ese niño creció para convertirse en alguien muy exitoso. Dime, si tuvieras el poder de estar en todas partes ¿A dónde irías? Esa pregunta me dio la idea del millón de dólares.
Conforme fui dominando mi don, me volvi más hábil al utilizarlo, no tiene mucha ciencia, solo tengo que imaginarme un lugar y concentrarme para aparecer en ese lugar, puedo ir a donde quiera, a cualquier lugar conocido o del que haya oído hablar y no tengo que caminar todo el trayecto, es tan increíble como un acto de magia. Iba a un supermercado, tomaba todo lo que quería y me iba sin pagar, si, era un ladrón, pero me daba igual serlo porque nadie puede atraparme.
Simplemente hago “Poof” y de repente estoy en otro país. Pero a la larga, ese estilo de vida se volvió aburrido. Cuando te acostumbras a viajar con frecuencia, un mundo inmenso se hace pequeño y asi se vuelve muy difícil pasar desapercibido.
Un superpoder como el mío estaba destinado a hacerse noticia internacional, por eso la policía y gobiernos enteros quieren atraparme para encerrarme en un laboratorio, para su mala suerte soy muy escurridizo. Pero jugar al gato y al ratón todo el tiempo se vuelve tedioso. Por eso empecé un negocio propio, mi emprendimiento es mi propio don, porque si las celebridades pueden lucrar con su talento, yo puedo hacer lo mismo.
Mientras estaba tratando de ligar en un bar de Dallas, Texas, esta chica cuyo nombre olvido me dijo que pagaría lo que fuera por ir a visitar Francia.
