Balancing a dragon's financial records was difficult enough before the treasure started disappearing. Apparently, I fell victim to a summoning spell. Mages usually use them to summon creatures as familiars, but these days, youngsters use them to steal coins. Those ruffians took all the gold from Magallela, the fearsome dragon of the south.
"This isn't good..." I muttered under my breath so as not to wake my master.
Yes, I am a dragon's servant. Perhaps you're curious to know how I ended up in this position: I came to plunder his lair, and to avoid being roasted alive, I knelt and swore eternal loyalty to Magallela.
But I think when he wakes up and sees that all the gold is gone, he'll want to take it out on me, so... I'll get out of here and go far away, far enough to avoid Magallela's wrath.
