Splinterlands eco-system is expanding every year. We've come a long way from alpha packs and now have dozens of packs going back over the years as well as other assets and land.

The latest installments are the glint shop and hall of legends.

Prices might have gone up but the glint shop is now the place to get your daily and season rewards through purchasing cards, chests or power ups.

I think it's a great idea even if i disagree with the soulbound aspect.

The real question now is whether it's a better idea to buy cards or chests as i try to fill out the new set of reward cards.

In order to do this I hired a large SPS delegation to increase my glint rewards and make sure to fill out the full collection. Since it ran out last season I've looked for another 500,000 SPS to go again.

Since the glint shop opened I've been buying both cards and chests but I have no idea which is the best option. I did hit some good pulls at the start of the season with a gold foil legendary and with my latest 20K glint I will see what the value of these twenty chests adds up to. I don't count potions as anything as they are no use to my account.

Worst rewards i've seen since starting.

That's the danger of gambling on the chests. I could have 26 new rare cards for the same price instead of these crappy results. With that said it won't stop me going for it again when i have more glint built up again. It can't be as bad next time.

If you haven't played the game before then now is the best time to join. Today is much better than tomorrow and a lot better than later.
