I will start this post by saying that if you live in Lagos State, Nigeria, and you are looking for a place where you can visit with your family, with friends, or even alone with your spouse for a unique nature embrace, then Lufasi Nature Park got you covered. I think this place is not well known, unlike other places where people regularly visit in the city. I usually pass this park and go, and one day, I spent a few minutes just in front of the park and felt this unusual calmness within.
The weather of the environment looks different from what we have here in Nigeria, hahaha. I have never explored the inside of this park like I did with my kids last weekend, and I will tell you that it was a beautiful experience, and I crave for more.
Come with me; let's take a little tour together...

Just like the name implies, the whole environment is filled with nature. What captivated me most is the calming effect of the place; it's quite different and amazing. I felt like I was in the USA or Canada, lol. The place is quite chilled and suitable for a deeper reflection too. You can get lost in nature, feel, and think differently for good. Walking down, we saw this guy in the above image with his girlfriend having a nice time together.
Before we proceeded, the manager of the park requested that we pay a certain fee for full access; although not expensive, it's quite cheap—more than I imagined. For children, it's just #500, and then #1,500 for an adult. In total, I paid about #3,500 for my kids and me, and that's like $2.5.

Going further, we met some people playing table tennis. If you look close at this image below, you will notice some cars parked a bit far from the play center. This is how many people leave their house to come to this heavenly nature park to relive stress and feel refreshed. For a while, my kids watched them play and loved the game. Looking at the other side, we saw different game tools for kids, and of course, my kids were happy and rushed immediately to play. There were varieties of games for the kids, and they ensured to take turns playing all

While my kids were having fun with different game activities over there, my sister and I found this swing that is so relaxing. I didn't want to leave the place so soon; that's how much the environment is so calming.

It was time for the tour guy to take us further to explore the park. They usually wait to have more people before a tour, and when more guys came in, we took off. I thought my kids would scream that they were tired, but I was wrong 😃. They were super energetic and were ahead of the tour guy even.

The animals above are the African wild donkey and a monkey. There were other animals we found there, well caged, and there were wild animals too, not under control, but we were alert in case of any attack, lol.
I found out that most of the African movies are shot here. Wow, it was a nice discovery. We saw artists shooting movies over there and also a gospel artist shooting a song. When I asked, the tour guy gave us the number of movies and songs that were shot in the park. There's no doubt before the place is quite serene for such activities.

Still on the tour, the tour guy, while taking us around, was teaching us all about nature and the healing effects of nature. He told us how some people visit nature and get their healing, giving us instances about his past experiences at the Lufasi Nature Park.

We saw different live animals, and my kids were so attentive to capture the names. I was equally happy seeing them loving the whole nature adventure; at least they have many stories to tell their mates after school resumption.

While going back from the tour, we met the guy in charge of the horse ride, and he literally pleaded that I allow the kids to ride the horse. We were tired to the point that I didn't want more fun activities, but my kids insisted. I must say that it was one of the happiest moments we had over there.
I won't forget in a hurry how the horse nearly threw me off balance. Hehehe, I screamed in fear, but all was super fun. I was literally scared, and my kids, who enjoyed the ride, were laughing at Mummy and how scared she can be.

This was how we explored this park all around, and I must say that it was exciting, refreshing, and relaxing. Finally, I had a little time with the kids after the tour, where each of them explained their tour experience with Mummy. Deep inside of me, I felt so satisfied that my mission was well accomplished. I wanted my kids to experience something new and have a story to tell, and I had it! 🤗
