Hello everyone, how are you? This Ladies of Hive contest is really interesting. Is there a character you like in a novel or movie? Yes, I do. When I read a novel, I always fall in love with the character in the novel. Yes, in several writings, I told that I like novels from one of the famous novelists in Indonesia, namely Ayu Tami.

There are many books that she wrote for me to collect. Well, one of the novels that I like is Manjari and Cakra Birawa, and this is a series from Bilangan Fu. Yes, there are two characters that made me fall in love and for me are very inspiring in this story. The first is Marja Manjali.

Marja is described as a cheerful, spoiled city girl, but she wants to explore and tombs or temples. And of course, she also begins to have spirituality, is sensitive to things that smell spiritual and can be more independent. That's what made me fall in love with Manjali.

But, there is another character that really inspires me, especially when treating Marja. The other character is Parang Jati. Parang Jati is a very strong character in this matter. He is a figure of a new man who is not trapped in masculinity and aggressiveness. In fact, he still has assertiveness, strength, and sensitivity.

And in traditional Javanese, he maintains his spiritual and natural values. In this story, this is actually a story immediately between Parangjati, Marja, and Sandy too. Marja and Parangjati have a secret relationship like a couple. But the attitude possessed by Parangjati is not possessive. In fact, he guides without being patronizing, inviting Marja to spaces of consciousness from the body to the inner.

In fact, his character in this novel, Parangjati is not trapped in a modern relationship like Marja and Yuda do. Parangjati also, has all his traits, he becomes a symbol of resistance to blind modernity. He rejects modernity that is all rational, even all patriarchal. In fact, in this novel, Parangjati has an understanding of body wisdom.

This novel wraps a high spiritual story through each character in its characters. In fact, it uses a background of historical events and it strengthens the characters in this novel. In this novel, I think these two characters are very inspiring. If there was a Parang Jati character in the real world, maybe I would chase him. That's all my story, see you in another story.
