Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you are doing well. This week's prompt is very interesting. I want to try to answer about salary negotiation. This is interesting for those in the workforce. I have worked several times, but only negotiated salary once. Hahah is this stupid and funny?
My first job as a journalist, at that time I thought this place would be my first learning space, I didn't think too much about salary. At that time, I didn't have a contract either. Just words. I have a salary from published articles. Will this be enough for me? I have to write a lot of news to be enough.

I worked there for quite a long time. But, I made it a place to learn. Learn with many things. Management to administration. Well, so too in my second place, I became a personal assistant. I didn't negotiate salary, because I worked with my seniors.
Only in this place, I started salary negotiations. There I was asked what salary I wanted? Actually I considered my experience as a journalist for three years. I also studied elsewhere to manage issues that could be produced.

During my time as a journalist, I learned to manage issues. Where the main issue rose for three consecutive days. I also have a Young Journalist certificate issued by a special institution. So, with that experience, I negotiated my salary. I negotiated my salary in 2019.
How much salary did I get? More than the city minimum wage at that time. I looked at the experience I had gone through. I used my two previous jobs as lessons. I accepted what I received at that time and I made it an opportunity in the future.
I realized that experience is the main thing for salary negotiations. I don't know about other friends. But, that's my story. See you in the next story.
