Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. I recently visited Ancol Indah Beach. This beach offers a new opportunity to explore the stunning Ancol Beach area. Ancol is a popular tourist destination in Jakarta and offers not only various attractions but also beautiful coastal views.

Ancol actually has several beaches, including Karnakal Ancol Beach, Ancol Festival Beach, and Lagun Ancol Beach. Ancol Indah Beach offers relaxation with calming ocean views. Ancol Beach is a great choice for finding tranquility amidst the hustle and bustle of Jakarta, boasting expansive stretches of sand and calm seas.

This beach is also perfect for relaxing, sunbathing, or simply enjoying the view. There are several dining options and a children's play area. When visiting Ancol Indah Beach, you can enjoy a tranquil atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of Jakarta. This beach is a perfect spot for taking photos with the beautiful, expansive ocean as a backdrop.

Here, the sunset moment transforms this beautiful beach into a stunning sight. Furthermore, I'd like to share that Ancol was once Kawarawa, a Dutch rest area, and was later transformed into a tourist area by Sukarno.

This is where Ancol became, and after independence, President Sukarno didn't want Ancol to become an industrial area. He wanted to transform it into a tourist area similar to Disneyland in America. Construction of the Ancol Dreamland project began in 1960 and was officially opened in 1970 by Governor Arli Sadikin.

This beach is an artificial beach reclaimed from the Rawarawa area. Furthermore, there's an urban legend in Ancol: Simanis Jembatan Ancol. Who is Simanis Jembatan Ancol? The story of the "Simani Jembatan Ancol" (The Sweet One of Ancol Bridge) is well-known in Jakarta. In fact, the story remains popular to this day.

It begins with the escape of a woman named Siti Ariah, a Betawi girl who lived in the 19th century and rejected the marriage proposal of a wealthy barber. She then fled to avoid coercion. While fleeing, Siti Ariah was captured by wealthy barbers and passed through the Ancol area.

Her body was later dumped and found in a rice field near Sunter. Since then, local residents have often seen apparitions of a beautiful girl in the area, who has become known as the Sweetheart of Ancol Bridge. That's all the story I can tell. What do you think? Was this story interesting? See you in the next story.
