Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. I recently visited the Ancol Monument. This monument is a historical landmark. Hello everyone, I want to tell you about a monument in Ancol, a place that has a history from its origins as a port from the colonial era to the integrated tourist area it is today.

Historically, this place was a small port during the Dutch colonial era. Ancol was once a small port on the north coast of Batavia and was recorded on VOC maps in the 17th century. However, in 1966, Ancol was designated an integrated tourist area and developed into a recreational area.

Currently, this area is known as the Ancol Dreamland, which offers several attractions, both free and paid. There is also the Ancol Monument, which relates to the history of Ancol.

The Ancol Monument is a three-pillar structure towering in the center of the Ancol Dreamland complex. It was built on July 2, 1977, as a symbol of hope and a message for future generations, conveyed through writings and poetry by Governor Ali Sadikin.

This monument was designed by Satya Arso, who has a significant history and role in marking the vision and development of the Ancol area. Once a swamp, this area is now an integrated recreational park. During the war of independence, this area was forgotten and fell into disrepair and neglect.

Ancol's reconstruction began in 1966. Over time, Ancol developed into the integrated tourist area it is today. Inside the monument are two poems, conveying hope and a beacon of hope for future generations to preserve and protect Taman Impian Jaya Ancol.

He also hopes that this generation will cultivate a life of spiritual renewal. This monument is dedicated to Governor Ali Sadiqin's expression of "Hati Nurani" (National Conscience), dedicated to the Indonesian nation. That's all I can say about this place. What do you think? See you again.
