Today was a completely different day. Suddenly, some dear relatives came to the house. Meeting everyone after a long time, talking and reminiscing about old days. The house was filled with the joy of the festival in an instant. And we are Bengalis, if there is a delicious breakfast along with chat and stories, then the level of joy doubles.
To make this evening chat more lively, I had brought some wonderful and delicious snacks from outside. Those arrangements filled the table further enhanced the atmosphere of the chat.
On one side, there were hot Mughlai parathas and crispy phulko luchi, which gave great satisfaction as soon as you bite into them. It was served with spicy chutney and chopped fresh cucumber salad. Everyone liked this combination of spicy and sweet.
But is hospitality complete with just a spicy snack? Any event is incomplete without a sweet treat. So, along with the spicy, crispy hot jilapi, there was a juicy jilapi. The sesame seeds sprinkled on top enhanced both the taste and beauty of the jilapi. This wonderful combination of sweet and salty added a different dimension to today's chat.
Such beautiful moments spent with loved ones are truly priceless. Even in the busyness of mechanical life, this little time spent with family and relatives brings a strange peace to the mind. Today's evening with delicious food and lively chat was memorable for a long time.
