Yesterday could have ended quite normally, but in the evening, my mind suddenly started to crave for something better. After a busy day, I thought of making something sweet to spend some special time with my family. Then I thought, how about making pudding for the kids? My kids love to eat pudding. Well, without thinking any further, I got stuck into making pudding.
The preparation for making pudding started in the kitchen. The process of making caramel pudding with the right mixture of eggs, milk and sugar has always been quite satisfying to me. When the sweet smell of caramel came from the kitchen, the kids kept peeking in. When they came to know that their favorite pudding was being made, their joy could not be contained.
When I took the pudding out of the oven and let it cool in the fridge, the kids could not stand the taste. When I finally poured the pudding onto the plate, I was delighted by its beautiful golden texture and the beautiful caramel sauce surrounding it. The perfect softness of the pudding when cut with a knife told me that the cooking was successful.
The children's eyes lit up as soon as the pudding was served on the table. As soon as they put the first spoonful of pudding in their mouths, the children happily said, "Mommy, this is great." This wide smile on their faces and the touch of satisfaction is what made all the arrangements.
After dinner, the whole family sat together and enjoyed the pudding. The taste of sweets was accompanied by stories of the state and cheerful chats. We all enjoyed yesterday's time together quite well. Spending such a beautiful time with the whole family, talking, and sharing food together is the real joy of life. These small moments bring a piece of happiness to our daily busy lives.
