At home, when we want to prepare hallacas and other Christmas foods, each of us has a specific responsibility. My wife prepares the hallacas stew with all its seasonings. My daughter makes the delicious chocolate cake, and I am in charge of tying the hallacas and preparing the ham. I should point out that when we went to buy the ham, they didn't have any; however, we bought pork ribs, which were actually very good because they had no bones and worked perfectly as ham; after all, it's pork, and it's perfect for the season.
The day was off to a great start; my wife prepared the stew for the hallacas and we had everything ready on the table. She began with the first hallaca of the day; I focused on tying them up, while my daughter was busy making a delicious chocolate cake. As for me, the pork ribs were already seasoned and in the oven, waiting to be cooked.
With all the food for dinner ready, before we all got dressed, we set the table for the occasion. We placed the plates, cutlery, fruit, and drinks on the table, waiting for the guests to arrive, hehehe. It was a really enjoyable day, with good music and a few drinks. The family was ready, waiting for the time to sit down at the table, celebrate, and enjoy good food.
Everything was ready and the whole family sat down at the table; we served dish after dish and it really looked amazing. The hallacas were incomparable, they were delicious. The chicken salad, which was also prepared by my wife and mother-in-law, was on another level; of course, my pork ribs were out of this world; you can see that they look good, hehehe. Now, a few words of thanks were said, we celebrated with our glasses, and it was time to eat, hehehe.
Everything turned out great, worthy of our Christmas tradition. After the delicious meal, we went to the living room to continue celebrating, drinking wine and singing karaoke—well, we tried, at least, ha ha ha. En casa; cuando deseamos preparar hallacas y el resto de los alimentos navideños, cada uno tiene una responsabilidad particular. Mi esposa prepara el guiso de las hallacas con todos sus aliños. Mi hija preparar la rica torta de chocolate y yo me encargo de amarrar las hallacas y preparar el pernil. Debo hacer notar que cuando fuimos a comprar el pernil, no había; sin embargo, compramos costillas de cerdo, que por cierto estaban demasiado buenas porque no tenían hueso y funcionaban perfectamente como pernil; al fin y al cabo es cerdo y es perfecto para la época.
Ya se iniciaba el día muy bien; mi esposa preparó el guiso para las hallacas y en la mesa teníamos todo preparado. Comenzó con la primera hallaca de la jornada; yo me dediqué a amarrarlas y por otro lado estaba mi hija haciendo la deliciosa torta de chocolate. De mi parte; las costillas de cerdo ya estaban condimentadas y en el horno a la espera de la cocción.
Ya con toda la comida para la cena lista; antes de vestirnos todos, preparamos la mesa para la ocasión. Colocamos los platos, cubiertos, frutas y bebidas a la espera de los comensales jejeje. De verdad que el día estaba muy ameno, con buena música y unos tragos adelante. Ya la familia estaba preparada, esperando la hora para sentarnos a la mesa, celebrar y disfrutar de buena comida.
Ya todo estaba listo y la familia en pleno se sentó a la mesa; servimos plato por plato y realmente esto se veía de locura. Las hallacas no tenían comparación, estaban deliciosas. La ensalada de pollo que también la preparó mi esposa y mi suegra, estaban de otro nivel; lógicamente mis costillas de cerdo eran de otra dimensión; ustedes pueden ver que tienen buena pinta jejeje. Ahora; se hicieron unas palabras de agradecimiento, celebramos con nuestras copas y a comer se ha dicho jejejeje.
Todo quedó muy bueno, digno de nuestra tradición navideña. Luego de la buena comida; nos fuimos al área de la sala para continuar celebrando; tomando nuestro vino y cantando karaoke; bueno, hacíamos el intento jejejeje. Recibimos la navidad con alegría y espero que todas las familias del mundo, hayan pasado una noche buena en familia y con un plato de comida en su mesa. Feliz Navidad a todos y nos vemos en el año nuevo.
