If I could pick any animal as my pet, it would either be a goat or a dog, but when I weigh and evaluate both options, I have come to the conclusion that I would pick a dog as a pet. I basically grew up with animals everywhere in my house. My mum had a section of the house well laid out for goats, another section for chickens, and then a section for turkeys. We had a dog as a pet, its name was Freshe. I loved that dog with all my heart, but we basically could not keep it due to relocation issues.

We also had a goat called Goatee, that goat was gracious, permit me to use the word gracious because that goat was so neat and obedient and it is kind of rare for the average Nigerian or should I say African because we all know and believe that goats are smelly and stubborn but not this one. Yeah, I forgot to add that this goat is polite 😁 a goat that literally sits with us to watch TV in the living room, and when it goes outside we all know it is going outside to ease itself and come back inside to continue watching with us, not one day has that goat messed up our house and when it died I cried.
I would prefer the male breed of a German Shepherd because I do not want my dog to give birth to other dogs that would litter my house and I'm very sure I cannot have the mind to sell my dogs offspring if I eventually pick the female dog. The second reason is I wouldn't want to share my dog or dog attention with any other dog so I'll just stick to a male dog 😊.
