Hace más de una semana que mi niño menor Don Juan comenzó su último año de primaria y por supuesto, como con todos mis hijos siempre intento estar presente y acompañarlos en sus primeros pasos, mientras nos necesitan. Ya luego en ocasiones molestamos 😄, pero mientras podemos estar y compartir con ellos, lo hacemos con gusto. Pero el niño esta creciendo y las charlas de antaño, pasaron a ser diferentes, por no decir muy diferentes.

Necesito una bicicleta.

Por otro lado, debido a las altas temperaturas de la semana pasada, donde en ocasiones tuvimos que retirarlo antes por sugerencias del colegio, el señor estuvo toda la noche del sábado con vómitos y malestares. Al ser fin de semana y esperando ver como actuaba su cuerpo en las primeras 24 hs (que lo hizo muy bien), es que no lo llevamos al médico. El domingo ya se levantó bien, por supuesto cuidamos su nutrición y ya hoy pudo ir al colegio normalmente. Intuimos que fue un golpe de calor lo que provoco sus malestares.

Y al ser hijo de un ciclista, sería el colmo que él no tenga bicicleta. Por supuesto que haremos lo imposible para que tenga su bicicleta (porque lo posible lo hacemos todos los días) y que salgamos a rodar juntos y por supuesto ir a la escuela en bicicleta. Algo que destaco en su petición y aquí mucho tiene que ver su madre @zutodoterreno, porque siempre les habla sobre los sueños, los deseos, pero también de nuestras realidades. Porque muchas veces soñamos en grandes logros, adquirir objetos y demás. Y eso está genial que sembremos en nuestros niños, pero acompañado con nuestra realidad. Cuando se puede, se puede y cuando no, debemos esperar y buscar alternativas. Es por eso que Don Juan me dice "solo si se puede pa ...".

Por supuesto que al ser ciclista y conocer un poco de bicicletas, las que a él le gusta, a mí ni un poquito. Son muy básicas y muchas veces, te las venden como las mejores. Pero los niños no se fijan las ruedas, la transmisión y demás. Quizás solo les llamo la atención el color, el modelo y por supuesto que en el centro comercial, todo luce bien. De igual forma buscaremos la forma de conseguirle una, que le permita rodar en bicicleta.
Siempre soñé en correr maratones y/o en bicicleta con mis hijos. Con los dos primeros no tuve éxito en ese sentido (aunque Genaro está haciendo el reto burpees anual y viene muy bien) y ojalá que con Don Juan se me dé. No pierdo la fe.
