Greetings #hivediy Artists, how have you been? The weekend is almost over, and I took the opportunity to share with you this drawing I just finished. This time I tried to draw Tengen Uzui, the Pillar of Sound from Kimetsu no Yaiba or Demon Slayer. This is because his new movie is about to be released, and I have this vice again for the characters of the series.
As usual, the first thing I made was a circle of approximately 8 cm in diameter and a vertical line through the center to divide it into 2 parts.
Then I made another 4 horizontal guide lines, whose measures are (the ones in the circle) 3 cm, the lower one, and 2.5 cm, the upper one. The other one is at the edge of the circle, and the last one is 2.5 cm apart.
Then I made some guide rectangles to place the eyes. This part was quite simple, and although there are many guidelines, in the end, it is worth using all of them.
His eyes are somewhat slanted, as if they were almost an oval. I hadn't noticed that his eyes are unique compared to others; that is, he has his style.
In this step, I detailed her eyes a little more with the eyelids and eye rims.
In this part, I added her typical makeup, which, like the YouTube that guided me, I still don't understand the meaning of those red balls around her right eye.
I also had no idea how much detail Tengen had. Here I am detailing a bit of the stones hanging from his ribbon.
This part was a little difficult for me, but I trusted the process.
Here I finished sketching her face to get an idea of how it was going to look.
Here I painted her lips and detailed her nose.
Here I started the second row of his beading.
I matched the other side.
Here I started sketching her ribbon, which also has rhinestones. **Tengen is super extravagant.
This part I thought would be difficult, but I quite enjoyed it.
Here I detailed the 3D effect 🤣 and I liked how it was turning out.
For this part, I started detailing her hair, it was pretty straightforward, no locs like the others. This is because Tengen has her hair up in a very sexy way.
Here I continued adding her hanging rhinestones, since those strips are quite long, and well, the drawing was a bit “close to the face”, so the end of that jewelry is not visible as such.
Here I start detailing his uniform, and well, I think this is where the mistakes started 🤣 but I kept trusting the process.
And here I finished drawing my mistake. Which gave a Teenager look to Tengen. And this character is one of the biggest characters in Kimetsu No Yaiba, his arms are gigantic. So already here, I know I didn't get the same as the original.
He, re I started to draw the handles of his swords. So far, everything was going well, and I was comfortable with how it was turning out despite the mistakes.
Second sword handle ma,d e, and I had to add the chains that join them. This was the most difficult part for me and the messiest and with errors 🤣, but what counts is the intention.
And here is the finished pencil sketch; it remains to highlight it in black.
When I saw it finished like that, the truth is that a voice inside me said "Leave it like that, it was quality," but my inner child wanted to color, so I started drawing her eyes, and then I didn't stop until it was like that:

Saludos Artistas de #hivediy. ¿Como han estado? Ya casi acaba el fin de semana y aproveché la oportunidad para compartir con ustedes este dibujo que acabo de terminar. En esta ocasión intenté dibujar a Tengen Uzui, el Pilar del Sonido de Kimetsu no Yaiba o Demon Slayer. Esto porque ya está próxima a estrenarse su nueva película y pues tengo este vicio de nuevo por los personajes de la serie.
Como es costumbre lo primero que hice fue un círculo de aproximadamente 8 cm de diámetro y una línea vertical por el centro para dividirlo en 2 partes.
Luego hice otras 4 líneas guías horizontales, cuyas medidas son (las que están en el círculo) 3 cm la inferior y 2,5 cm la superior. La otra está al filo del círculo y la última mide 2,5 cm también de distancia.
Luego hice unos rectángulos guías para ubicar los ojos. Esta parte se me hizo bastante sencilla y aunque son muchas líneas guías, al final vale la pena usarlas todas.
Sus ojos son algo inclinados, como si fueran casi un óvalo. No había notado que sus ojos son únicos en comparación con los demás, es decir, tiene su propio estilo.
En este paso detallé un poco más sus ojos con los párpados y los bordes del mismo.
En esta parte le agregué su típico maquillaje, que al igual que el YouTube que me guiaba, sigo sin entender el significado de esas bolas rojas alrededor de su ojo derecho.
Tampoco tenía idea de la cantidad de detalles que tenía Tengen. Aquí estoy detallando un poco las piedras que le cuelgan de su cinta.
Esta parte se me hizo algo difícil, pero confié en el proceso.
Ya aquí terminé de esbozar su rostro para tener una idea de cómo iba a quedar.
Acá pinté sus labios y detallé su nariz.
Acá inicié la segunda hilera de su pedrería.
Emparejé el otro lado.
Acá empecé a esbozar su cinta que también tiene pedrería. Tengen es super extravagante.
Esta parte pensé que sería difícil pero la disfruté bastante.
Acá les detallé el efecto 3D 🤣 y me gustaba mucho cómo estaba quedando.
Para esta parte, empecé a detallar su cabello, fue bastante sencillo, nada de mechones como los demás. Esto porque Tengen tiene su cabello recogido de manera muy sexy.
Acá continué agregando su pedrería colgante, ya que esas tiras son bastante largas y bueno a mí me quedó algo "cercano al rostro" el dibujo, por lo que el final de esa joyería no se alcanza a ver como tal.
Aquí empiezo a detallar su uniforme y bueno, creo que aquí empezaron los errores 🤣 pero seguí confiando en el proceso.
Y aquí terminé de dibujar mi error. Lo que le dio un aspecto de Adolescente a Tengen. Y es que este personaje es uno de los más grandes de Kimetsu No Yaiba, sus brazos son gigantes. Así que ya aquí sé que no me quedó igual al original.
Aquí empecé a dibujar los mangos de sus espadas. Hasta ahora todo iba bien y estaba a gusto de cómo iba quedando a pesar de los errores.
Segundo mango de espada hecha y me tocó agregar las cadenas que las unen. Esta fue la parte más difícil para mí y la que más desprolija y con errores se ve 🤣 pero lo que vale es la intención.
Y ya aquí está terminado el boceto a lápiz, resta resaltarlo en negro.
Al verlo así terminado, la verdad que una voz dentro de mí decía "déjalo así, quedó calidad" pero mi niña interior quería colorear así que empecé dibujando sus ojos y luego no paré hasta que quedó así:
