Keep it simple

That is a motto that surely isn’t applicable to Domenico Tedesco. Since he took the Belgian football squad over from Roberto Martinez, the Red Devils have played one very good half. In his very first game against Germany.

Since then it has been a sh*t show. With lame football, very defensive and the wrong players in the wrong positions.

For instance, last Wednesday Belgium played Italy in Rome, and Tedesco put his best centre back, Zeno Debast on right back, his best attacking winger, Jeremy Doku in a defensive wing back position… and the list goes on!

Today he starts against France with the best player of last Wednesday, Maxim Decuyper, on the bench…

My advice for Domenico, form a team with your best players on their best position instead of forcing players to do things they can’t on a position that isn’t theirs…

Let’s hope he keeps it simple today!
