When I reached the ORCA rank on HIVE, I was thinking about the next step and goal. As the WHALE rank is very far away, my next focus was to reach the 100K HivePower and I'm happy to say that I did it! How long did it take? From the moment I got the ORCA rank, almost two years have passed, which was the time needed to almost double up my HivePower. At January, 1st, after the 1K power-up, I had 56K HivePower that was needed for ORCA rank!

In certain moments, it was even hard to imagine getting there, especially when HIVE was over $1... Around January 2022 that was the case... and to imagine that I would need 50K USD more to reach 100K was unimaginable... The price of HIVE went down, and I used those (these) moments to acquire more, and to power up more... But, it is needed to say that I was doing those 1K power-ups even when the price was over $1!
After all these years in crypto, I did learn something very important... If you are focused and convinced in what you are doing, nothing can stop you from reaching your goal... IGNORE the price, ignore the volatility, and keep your focus on accumulation... It doesn't matter if it is $1 or $0.10, you have your goal and you work to accomplish it!
How about taking profits? Well, I did take some profits from crypto through the years... Sometimes one token, sometimes some others, but most of the time, my main focus was on the accumulation of "blue-chip tokens"... That is a very relative term, as blue-chip tokens aren't the same for everyone... For some, only Bitcoin is a blue-chip token, maybe only HIVE, and for others multiple tokens... Either way, it's important to define that for yourself and to keep the focus... If you are changing your "blue-chip" tokens definition every week, you will never get there...
So, let's do it! Let us power up some Hive on November #hivepud.

That number looks so awesome! 100,000 HivePower!!! After all this time, a lot of work and I have to say, sacrifice too, I have reached my yearly goal, but also a huge multi-year goal!!
After that, I have powered up the rest of the 1000 HIVE destined to be staked today... The biggest HiveBuzz bee will come tomorrow! 😃
What's next? I suppose that the next multi-year goal should be 150K, as aiming more than that could be counter-productive and demotivating...
As I have powered up over 1 HIVE every day during October, I got another important message from Hivebuzz this morning...
Along with the other 40 people, I got the #hivepum badge for October!
To get this badge, you should power up at least 1 HIVE every day of the month OR create a post every day with rewards set to 100% HP...
So, what is #hivepud?
Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #hivepud is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and is held every 1st day of a month.
