I have mentioned in one of my previous posts that sometimes I look like I'm so focused and dedicated to HIVE, and some other times I'm so disappointed that I'm ranting around like crazy... lol... I suppose that's something normal for us humans (or I'm just lying myself 🙂), that we have our ups and downs... Similar to the markets, they can't go always up (or always down)... You can't be always 100% positive, with a smile on your face, doing great in every single moment... At least, I can't do it like that... I mean, I could smile and FAKE it, but I don't want to do that...
I rant, I'm disappointed in the platform sometimes, I'm disappointed in myself when I don't react as I should when I take things too personally, when they are not like that at all... I know that I'm like that as others who are close to me can CONFIRM it... lol... In some moments, it looks like I will power down all my HivePower and leave, but, something is pushing me to go forwards... Despite all that, whenever I have a "crisis", I do something opposite, diving deeper into HIVE... Something similar happened recently...

The last few weeks (maybe 1-2 months) were tough... I went through multiple crises like that... I noticed some negative stuff happening on HIVE, and as a good empath, they stick to me... I was pissed off seeing people doing dumb stuff, and it wouldn't be the problem that it was happening for the first time, but it was a repeating issue, over and over again... I was at the edge of losing that "light at the end of the tunnel... When emotions settled down, I decided to run the weekly HIVE live show in the Ecency Discord!!! The idea was to educate new Hivians about the platform and unite experienced Hivians on that mission, collaborating with the audience, and creating something more than "one talking head" video... After that episode, I had another "breakdown" that happened a week (or two) ago... I was in a discussion with close friends about things that are happening on HIVE and the direction where we are headed... From our point of view, it wasn't a good direction, and the situation looked even worse as most of the HIVE whales were FOR that direction... Knowing how big the influence of only 5 to 6 big whales accounts, the situation looked even worse... It was the situation when you realized that someone wanted to put you in a place from where you couldn't see that (already mentioned) light! This time it was even harder as fellow Hivians had a similar view and it hurts even more when you have a confirmation of your fears... After a few days, I rented a server and spin up a HIVE WITNESS node!!
The moral of this story is... Piss me off and I will do the opposite of what you expect! 😂 When you think that you will kill my motivation, I will add one more brick to the wall...
The idea for this post was to write about the HIVE Witness node that I'm running with @achim03 under the @liotes account, but this got too long so I will leave that for another post... At this moment, I will just call you to support our witness by voting for us here... If you are reading these posts of mine, you probably know most of my views about HIVE, decentralization, and empowering others, and I can say that I will continue to promote those views in the future... Can't say that Achim is sharing the same views 100%, but we do agree on many points...
Let's go back to the #myhivegoals part of the post, and as usual, in the beginning, let's check out HiveStats...

In the last report, I said that I'm chasing an 80K HivePower goal when my goal for December 31 is 79K! 🤦 I forgot my own yearly goal... Anyway, with this last #hivepud, I made that goal a bit closer...
In the last 7 days, if I exclude my 1K power-up, I have accumulated 284 HivePower which is almost the same amount as I did in the last report... That amount isn't just my author and curation rewards, but also some HIVE tokens that I have powered up during the week... Those tokens are generated in the second layer and moved to HivePower!
Again, in the last report, I gave myself a "hope" that I can reach my LEO Power despite being so far from it... I staked over 500 tokens in that week, but this time, I couldn't repeat the same result... So, I staked fewer tokens, but still, not that small amount...
During the week, I have accumulated and staked 270 LEO tokens and to reach my yearly goal, I should at least double that amount in the remaining week... Can't say that I will get there, but I can say that I will continue trying to do it!!! As someone said in the comments on a previous #myhivegoals post, in the end, what counts is that numbers going up! It is indeed like that!
GAMING GOALS - Flexible Goals
The thing with Rising Star goals are exactly how they should be... Collecting more cards gives you more powerful stats in the game that later on, give you more income from doing missions... All that leads to getting more STARBITS tokens from those missions that I can spend for buying more packs than I did a few months ago, which leads to getting more cards per week NOW than it was at the beginning of the year... That's how the SNOWBALL EFFECT works!!!
I bought some additional EPIC cards that I didn't have in my deck, so this time, I have added 180 new NFTs to my collection... I'm less than 500 cards from my yearly goal!!!
Regarding my GLX tokens goal, no news about it... I have unstaked half of the tokens waiting for the LP rewards for the pool... I left the other half staked as they still bring some GLGT tokens by being staked...
It's time to update the numbers and put them into the spreadsheet until the next week! So, freshly updated numbers for #myhivegoals, on December 3rd, 2023 are:
