No, I'm not talking about the crypto-cycle and speculating if Bitcoin is doing its 4-year-cycle thing, or if it is different because we have a new player(s) in town (ETFs)... I'm talking about #hivepud as @arcange had issues with his HiveSQL service which is using a lot of applications and among them, the HiveBuzz website that follows #hivepud and #hivepum stats...
This time we will not see those recognizable bees in the comment section telling us that we have powered up our HIVE, and we will not receive our bee badges... yet... I suppose when the HiveSQL comes back (Arcange is still working on it), we will get our badges, old and new ones... It was nice to track the progress, especially for the #hivepum challenge, so in some way, we were doing daily power-ups in the dark... 🙂

Another thing that is different this time is that the HIVE price has recovered a bit, which made some people think about taking profits... Recently, we saw a couple of HIVE posts with the question "When will you sell your HIVE?", which provoked a kind of chain reaction, and some people started their power downs... To have some liquid HIVE prepared for selling...
Regarding my personal strategy, I didn't make any radical changes in my approach... As you will see in the screenshots below, I have powered up a bit more than I did last month, and I continued with building my HivePower... The goal is still the same as it was at the beginning of the year, 100K until the end of 2024! I'm trying to keep the noise down, and continue with accumulation!
Maybe this time it will be different, and after going up, HIVE stays on higher levels for a longer time. From the comments on different posts, I got a feeling that many don't believe in that, but who knows... If certain game launches align with the HIVE top, everything is possible!

One thing has to be said... When the price of HIVE goes up, the USD value for the posts will go up too, but the HIVE value could stay the same... All that will be very tempting to cash out, and every time that HIVE goes up it will be harder and harder to power up it! So, if you plan to accumulate HIVE, the best way to do it is to ignore the price, not look at the charts, don't FOMO, just continue building... Even if you think at these moments differently, all that changes when numbers go up... :)
As HiveBuzz doesn't work, I can't check if I got the #hivepum badge, but I think that I didn't skip a day in February... Anyway, I don't want to deceive myself, so let's wait and see when the website comes back...
To get this badge, you should power up at least 1 HIVE every day of the month OR create a post every day with rewards set to 100% HP...
So, what is #hivepud?
Just a short introduction to HivePUD... What does it mean at all? #hivepud is shortened for the Hive Power Up Day. It's an event when Hive members power up their liquid HIVE and stop any active PowerDown! It is organized by great fellow Hivians @streetstyle and @traciyork and is held every 1st day of a month.
As for already mentioned issues, there is no official #hivepud post and I will share the last one... For beginners let them know what it is about... You can find last month's post here:
