I heard something about cereals. A midwife advised that expectant mothers should take cereals. She said anytime expectant mothers go to a supermarket to shop for something, they should not forget to enter into the cereals section. They should always go there and pick some cereals for consumption.

Although she never stated what these cereals are helpful for in the body, she only advised that expectant moms should take cereals very well. I asked my mom later and she informed me that it aids quick lactation when the baby is born especially for first time moms. Yesterday, I decided to visit the market and I bought some cereal. She made mention of an oats meal. She said it was very good for consumption during pregnancy.

I did not really love oaths meal because of its texture until recently when a friend of mine introduced me to it and advised that I also take oaths meal as it is good. I started taking oaths meal but not on every occasion. I only took very small quantity because I was not comfortable with its texture.

Now I have been advised at the antenatal class that I should take cereals and most importantly oats meal. This morning I took oats meal after a long while and it was not bad at all. It tasted nice, I think because I now see it in a more beneficial and positive way.

I ate a lot of it. I could not take some photos because my phone had started having little issues with the camera again. I added enough milk to the oats meal and I really enjoyed it for the first time. I even combined it with a little bread which made me very filled.

The midwife advised that pregnant moms should take more whole grains and nuts. She said there are a lot of benefits from whole grains and nuts which is very beneficial for pregnant women and the babies in the womb. I learnt many things at the antenatal class. Actually it was my first time attending an antenatal class.

Thanks for reading. Writing is mine.
