Hello plant based foodies, wherever you are in the world and the galaxy! Here @sirenahippie
On many occasions, when reading, reviewing and curating posts in this community, we have come across recipe posts that lack FUNDAMENTAL INFORMATION, and when we refer to this information we are talking about QUANTITIES. And what are these quantities? It's very simple: Amounts of ingredients, quantities or time periods for the various processes of the recipe, and quantities of portions or food obtained, that's what we're referring to.

It may seem annoying, repetitive, and even some members of the vegan family may feel offended or fed up with this requirement, but we will continue to request this information in ALL RECIPE POSTS that are published in this community. This is not a mere whim, to annoy content creators, no, nothing further from that, we make this request because for a recipe to be correctly executed, all this data is necessary. We know that there are recipes that can be flexible and vary according to the creativity of each person who prepares it, or according to the availability of ingredients, but there are others that definitely cannot be varied, for example, desserts, sweets, breads.

And when we ask you to include quantities (ingredients, times, servings) in your recipes, they must be expressed in measurement quantities that are standardized, that can be understood anywhere on the planet or in the galaxy. Saying “a handful of rice” is not the same as saying “half a cup of rice”, because a handful can vary a lot, depending on the hand you hold it with, right???, so, all quantities, Times and portions must be expressed clearly and correctly.

If you review any serious recipe book, whether online or printed, you will see that this data is always included in the recipe, because those who write it start from the premise that not everyone who reads the recipe and wants to repeat it in the future, is familiar with it, or with cooking techniques, or even, there will be readers who have never cooked, so the information must be given as exact as possible, to avoid confusion or bad results.

Having said all of the above, we hope that you, our dear users, know how to understand what we ask of you and, consequently, always publish your recipes in the most complete way possible, so we can offer a quality and understandable vegan recipe book for any reader, whether whether it is inside or outside of Hive. We always seek excellence
