Hello everyone here, Good morning to you all in the @hive-reachout community. Actually this is my first time to participate in this platform and I am happy to being a member of this great community.
Since I had not ideal before about this community but I got to know this platform through @etorobong and am excited to expressing myself and ideas.
As a newbie in this platform I went through the community and I noticed about the topic that talk about CHARITY BEGIN AT HOME and it is a nice topic to discuss about.
The word charity begin at home means to value and Care for your family, friend and people around you. The term charity encourage you to be good and show
Love to people around you and this has been done in a practical ways.
I know charity may not be all about giving but the are others perspective which charity can also be render to people we love and cherish most by spending time most of our time with them this can also be way to show that we cherish them most,caring is other way of charity this be by knowing when they are happy and sad what makes them in such stages. Being supportive and protective at the same time to the people we love.
This topic remind me of my kids sister who find it interesting to be with me because of the attention and company I keep her every time she is in need of such care. Although she may not value the thing I give to her but the attention she got from me , this may also way that I have shown charity to her. Part of my attention and quality time I spent with her help in building a strong relationship with her.
What I noticed in our world today is that mostly our parents don't create time for us because they are after their business for me growing up as a child my parents don't spent time with me which makes me feel that receiving gifts from parents is love, I never understood that quality time spent with parents is also part of love growing up in the mist of my sister and the quality time they spent with me and the care the give to me was also part of charity they have. So it was a little bit difficult for me because I never come cross spending time with my parents as love but things changing when this part of life was done by sister I understand that the truth meaning of love.
So getting this part of love and care form my elderly sister I taught it was needful to extend the love and care I got from my elderly sister to my younger as part of charity I have learn. Coming to acknowledge that charity is not all about giving I made it possible to create good spending time with my kid sister, creating room where she is free supporting and protecting her on necessary things
