Happy weekend everyone,
It has been an amazing and a successful week indeed, and I returned all Glory to God.
Weekends are always a time of fun, where I get to rest, hangout with friends, reflect on my achievements and some of the errors in the cause of the week, where i need to improve on, for better results, and get myself ready for the upcoming week.
My last weekend was one of its kind, because it was a time that was memorable for me, after the new year celebration, we rounded it up with another celebration, it was my brother's marriage, and It was really an exciting moment for me, though i was stressed, but it was worth it, the excitement eradicated the stress, and all was a joyous weekend.
Though I had to travel for hours on the road for it, but I didn't grumble because it was worth it, and it was another opportunity to meet new friends and explore, have fun with my niece and nephews and other of my long time friends, it was really a fun filled weekend.
Apart from just going for the marriage, I get to learn about the Western culture, (Osun state) where the wife was from and the procedure in presenting their martial rites, i discovered theirs is also unique, though it was new to me, I also saw how the groom and friends prostrate to greet the brides family , seeing this, I said to myself there's power in love, seeing them prostrate for love was indeed good to behold😂, though it was fun, another was the wife veiling her face during the traditional marriage, and to be unveiled by the mother-in-law, but apart from this, there were so many other fascinating memories and lessons from there, which will share in my next episode. Although their marital rites differ from ours, which is the Southern part (Akwa Ibom), from there i realized and embraced the uniqueness of every culture.
I learnt so much, and I'm glad that I went for the marriage. And I returned all Glory to God for the success of it, because it it was one of its kind. I'm also excited that God has given me another sister from a different tribe, where I will get to learn another language as well teach her mine😘. And on Sunday after resting we went for family outing, it was really a good time.
It was really an amazing weekend full of love, unforgettable memories and lessons. I really enjoyed it.
