Hello everyone,
Hope we're all doing great.
Our reputation plays a vital role in determining those who associate with us. So we ought to be guarded, so we wouldn't tannish it.

I would love to say that reputation is one of our most valuable professional assets when being considered for a job or any other position, hearing of several stories from people, and I get to experience it as well, so I would say our reputation covers every sphere of our life.
Knowing our reputation involves being aware of how others perceive and sees us, either by our actions, or by our character. Reputations are built over time, it can be easily damaged and very difficult to mend. Reputation is not restricted to a particular place nor environment, rather it's our personality and it covers everything that concerns us.
Our self-awareness is the key thing as far as our reputation is concerned; having an understanding of how our actions impact others or hurt others goes a long way, the key link between self-awareness and reputation is derived from feedback we get as a result of our actions or performance. People with self-awareness tend to solicit feedback and use it continually to develop themselves because they know how they are viewed by others because they constantly ask, and that has gone a long way in helping me build my reputation.
A person's reputation should align as closely as possible with his/her self-view, because the more we're aware of ourselves, the greater our likelihood. Though most people who speaks about their strengths and weaknesses tend to improve more effectively.
Our reputation can determine the extent of our growth, our relationship with others e.t.c so Identifying the areas of our weakness and trying to improve can help boost our reputation.
Our reputation has the capacity for a stronger relationship which is built through mutual understanding, it all enhances career opportunities as well as credibility. Managing our reputation helps in addressing and correcting misconceptions or negative perceptions.
It is essential to note that self-reflection also helps in knowing and building our reputation, and it helps by regularly assessing our actions and decisions, also seeking guardians from experienced people also helps
Ultimately, we have to decide what kind of reputation we want preceding us to that next meeting or career opportunity, because it cannot be imposed on a person, but we work to earn it.
Though if we have a bad reputation, we make an effort to improve it, because It’s never too late to clarify our intent, improve our approach and start forming a new reputation that makes us proud and helps us land that next big opportunity, though it takes time and requires patience.
Knowing and maintaining a positive reputation, helps to build trust, foster strong relationships, and achieve personal and professional success. Reputation is not gotten in a day, it's a process that requires consistency, effort and attention, and the same thing is applicable in mending our reputation.
This is my response to "Reputation".
Thank you for stopping by ❤️
