Hypatia of Alexandria is the real protagonist of the film Agora, a film that is inspired by the real events that this woman of great power in knowledge that she left for humanity during the initial centuries of our era, I saw the recommendation of this film in the CineTv community feed thanks to @palomap3 with a thumbnail that caught my attention thanks to the actress Rachel Weisz who looks beautiful and transmits all the feeling of seeing a dedicated woman, married to science who lived in those past centuries.
I am so glad to have seen this recommendation because despite being a fan of the ancient world associated with Rome, Greece, Egypt and that convulsive time 2000 years ago, I had never heard of Hypatia, in fact I thought the story was totally fiction but after watching the movie and researching on google, I realize that she really existed being this the best feeling of the film and the main reason why I recommend it to you to know part of the life and work of this great woman philosopher of the ancient world.
El gran valor agregado del cine para la humanidad es que alimenta a la imaginación con los mejores ingredientes provenientes del cocimiento y todo lo anterior se mezcla con sentimientos para que nazca la reflexión, lo que acabo de escribir es sinceramente lo que pienso, mucho de lo que he aprendido en la vida proviene de las historias en películas que inclusive llega un punto en que pienso supera lo que he aprendido en la escuela.
Hypatia de Alejandria es la protagonista real del film Agora, una película que se inspira en los eventos reales que esta mujer de gran poder en conocimiento que dejo para la humanidad durante los siglos iniciales de nuestra era, vi la recomendación de esta película en el feed de la comunidad CineTv gracias a @palomap3 con una miniatura que llamo mi atención gracias a la actriz Rachel Weisz que luce preciosa y transmite toda la sensación de ver a una mujer entregada, casada con la ciencia que vivió en esos siglos pasados.
Como me alegra haber visto esa recomendación porque a pesar de ser muy fan del mundo antiguo asociado a Roma, Grecia, Egipto y esa época tan convulsionante hace 2000 años atrás, yo nunca había escuchado de Hypatia, de hecho pensé que la historia era totalmente ficción pero luego de ver la película e investigar en google, me doy cuenta que ella en realidad existió siendo esta la mejor sensación del film y la razón principal por la cual te la recomiendo para que conozcas parte de la vida y obra de esta gran mujer filosofa del mundo antiguo.

Esta si es la historia de una mujer mártir que demuestra el sufrimiento y lo atrofiado de nuestras culturas al no dejar crecer, participar y solucionar los problemas del mundo en cualquier tópico a las mujeres, llego un punto en que me dio mucho pesar el ver como se trato a esta gran mujer en el pasado.
Justo lo anterior es lo que como idea ataca mejor el film, porque a la final es una historia que agrega ficción y es allí donde el director Alejandro Amenabar junto a su equipo de trabajo plantea en la película lo que considero es uno de los mayores crímenes que como humanidad se ha hecho y es truncar los aportes humanísticos, filosóficos, matemáticos, astronómicos y científicos de una gran cantidad de mujeres durante toda nuestra historia.
Solo imagina donde estaría a nivel de conocimiento y tecnologías nuestro mundo si esa otra mitad de la humanidad fuese logrado aportar sus granitos de arena, son cosas que no podemos medir pero si que percibimos el como atrofiamos el avance natural del ser humano.

Por eso es que fue tan exitosa con su participación en el famoso film de la momia y de hecho un detalle a destacar es que por momentos durante su interpretación en el film, ella revive totalmente a su personaje de antaño en la momia, en mi caso no fue tanto de agrado esta semejanza pero estoy seguro que para muchos esto encantara, por tanto cumplo con recomendarlo si eres fan de su participación en la momia porque en este film ella revive la esencia de aquel personaje que también ama el conocimiento y las bibliotecas jaja.
De hecho la elección de casting pienso esta pensado totalmente en aquel otro personaje de la momia y esto lo aplaudo porque si, Rachel transmite una seriedad antigua exquisita de ver.

Un detalle a criticar es que el nombre de la película debería ser totalmente Hypatia de Alejandria para que su nombre llegue a mas personas y puedan conocerla, el nombre del film es Agora y de verdad que no me transmite nada, le falta solemnidad, por eso esta reseña se llama Hypatia como debe ser.
Una película que a nivel de conocimiento, actoral a través de Rachel Weisz y un añadido en el toque Astronómico se gana su lugar como una de mis películas favoritas ambientada en el mundo antiguo porque logro transmitirme todos los sentimientos y la verdadera convicción de una mujer hecha de ciencias llamada Hypatia de Alejandria.
