Today is a little sweeter. Why not, when my little fairy insists on her favorite chocolate, what else can be done? Any parent can turn the world upside down to put a smile on their child's face. And I'm just talking about some chocolates. These moments of joy are the real treasures of life.
After lunch, I went to the market and on the way home, I stopped in front of her favorite shop. Her eyes sparkled when she saw the various chocolates arranged in the shop's glass. She spent quite a while deciding which one to keep and which one to take. I was standing next to her and enjoying her joy.
I chose her favorite strawberry-flavored chocolate bars, which made my mouth water just by looking at their pink packets. I took her favorite roasted almond chocolate with me. The shiny wrapper of the packet and the sweet taste inside are like a great gift.
I had been waiting all day to see the scene when she was overwhelmed with happiness with the chocolates in her hands. Hearing her sweet smile and excited voice, I felt that today was a worthwhile day. These small joys of a child brighten the world of parents like us.
On the way back home, looking at the small chocolate bag in her hand, it seemed that the small pleasures of life are actually as sweet as these chocolates. This small arrangement today gave her a different kind of joy, and I feel great to be a part of that joy.
