When the Prothom-alo of the morning brightens up the surroundings, it feels different to leave the corner of the house and stand under the open sky. This morning was even more beautiful for me, because I took my little princess straight to the rooftop tub. And as soon as she stepped on the rooftop, her daily joy and mischief began.
Children's minds are always very simple. Even the smallest things around them bring them great joy. The rooftop is like a huge kingdom to her. Watering the trees, stirring the soil in the tub, and laughing out loud to herself, all created a wonderful atmosphere. I just stood on one side and was fascinated by these joyful moments of hers.
When I went to the rooftop with my daughter this morning, there was no end to her mischief. On one hand, she was pulling the leaves of the flowers and plants, and on the other hand, she was running around holding my hand. Seeing her little feet running from head to head on the roof, a smile automatically comes to my face. It seemed that I had found a piece of peace in the lap of nature amidst the machinery of this busy city.
Seeing a smile on a child's face instantly removes all the fatigue of the parents. No matter how busy the work or mental stress is, this innocent smile of the child is enough to forget all the troubles. This morning was very special for both of us. The open air of the roof and the touch of the girl's young hands made the morning beautiful.
Such beautiful moments make life more meaningful. Such small breaks in the midst of the daily routine of life bring a strange peace to the mind. I hope that I will get the opportunity to spend many more such beautiful and joyful moments with my daughter in the coming days.
