While walking along the shore of Tocuchare Beach in Sucre State, I came across several businesses with ocean views and even piers for a more immersive experience. Among them, Ebenezer Beach stands out; I didn’t miss the chance to explore a little further and get to know this place, which—more than just a vacation and recreation center—is a landmark within the community.
Unfortunately, when I visited, the place was closed—it was early in the morning and not the peak tourist season—but I still took some photos of the grounds. Some of the walls are built of stone, and a large blue gate signals that we’ve arrived at our destination.
From a lookout point, you can see large rocks, including debris from nearby construction sites, so this stretch of shore doesn’t seem suitable for swimming. The view changes significantly when you look out to the horizon; the brilliant blue of the sea and the sky captivates the senses and invites you to take in the scenery from this corner of the beach.
Another striking feature of this place is the variety of buildings visible from the shore: humble dwellings have given way to imposing beach houses that look very well-maintained; the salt air and the elements have not taken their toll on their structures. From their balconies, the view must be breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset.
I always say that gazing at the seascape is an excellent way to soothe the spirit; it’s like pausing time to fill yourself with a sense of well-being. When we consciously connect with nature, it leads us to be grateful for the privilege of being alive and of witnessing such marvelous sights.

Caminando por la orilla de la playa Tocuchare en el estado Sucre, tuve la ocasión de encontrar algunos locales comerciales con vista al mar y hasta con muelles para disfrutar de una experiencia más intensa. El panorama cambia significativamente cuando miramos al fondo, el azul brillante del mar y el cielo cautiva los sentidos e invita a apreciar el paisaje desde esta esquina de la playa.
Otro detalle impresionante de este lugar lo constituyen las diversas construcciones que se observan desde la orilla, humildes viviendas han cedido espacio ante imponentes casas de playas que lucen muy bien cuidadas, el salitre y la intemperie no han hecho estragos en sus estructuras. Desde sus balcones la vista ha de ser impresionante, sobre todo al amanecer y en la puesta del sol.
Siempre digo que observar el paisaje marino es una excelente forma de reconfortar el espíritu, es como pausar el tiempo para para llenarse de bienestar. El contacto con la naturaleza, cuando se realiza de forma consciente, nos lleva a agradecer por el privilegio de estar vivos y de percibir imágenes tan maravillosas.
