During my exploration of Tocuchare Beach, I headed toward the area with the uveros; very large, leafy trees welcomed us and provided shade. I also saw a massive coconut palm, which is very common on most beaches in Sucre State. This vegetation is native to the marine ecosystem, so I’ve seen it in other settings, and it never ceases to amaze me how tall they can grow.
Boats also help enhance the landscape and, as a result, take center stage in the photos. Several are sheltered on the shore, while others dance with the waves, anchored nearby, with their engines ready to set sail again. It’s clear that fishing is the main source of food for this community, which relies on various marine species, making the most of nature’s bounty.
From the shore, you can see that the beach is full of rocks of various sizes and types, as well as marine organic debris. There’s a large accumulation of dried seaweed and fallen leaves, along with an old log. A few black thrushes were flitting about, presumably looking for food from the visitors. All these details tend to stand out when you wait for sunset to watch the colorful hues that form in the sky.
When I scanned the water, I noticed several rocks covered in notably long seaweed, which gave the sea a greenish hue. This area isn’t ideal for swimming, since you could get hurt; plus, the seaweed tends to have a slimy texture, which I don’t find pleasant.
The seascape will always be enchanting; I love watching the blue of the sky blend with the blue of the sea, separated only by an invisible line. Above, the clouds take on different shapes; sometimes, I lose myself looking for similarities with objects from my daily life—this can be a fun and relaxing activity.

Cuando pasé la mirada por el agua noté diferentes rocas que tenían algas significativamente largas, lo que volvía el mar de color verdoso, este sector no es un lugar ideal para bañarse, debido a que nos podríamos lastimar, además, las algas suelen tener una textura babosa, la cual no es agradable para mí.
El paisaje marino siempre será encantador, me gusta ver cómo el azul del cielo se funde con el azul del mar, una línea invisible los separa. Arriba, las nubes adoptan diferentes formas, a veces, me pierdo buscando parecidos con objetos de mi cotidianidad, esta puede ser una actividad divertida y relajante.
