I am not perfect but I believe in what is right and this is what is called righteous living. Being yourself irrespective of what people say about you, standing in the truth, and showcasing the real meaning of values but it's so saddening that all these qualities are lost in our society today, and to rectify them will take a whole lot of hard work that's if it can be restored. The integrity of a man lies in what he says and how he behaves, these two speak so much about who the individual is and this is one thing people don't understand. After they've ruined a lot with their mouth, that's when they will say they were just joking around, they didn't mean it that way.
One of the things others do that pisses me off is backbiting, oh for heaven's sake, I hate this attitude with passion. Why will you say something you won't be able to repeat when asked again? This is so common among ladies and it's so annoying because I've had many experiences with people of such behaviour. I believe in self-respect I cherish myself a lot and I don't give room for disrespect of any kind and this has been who I am. I don't expect everyone to like me and this is the main reason why I choose my friends wisely. Although many see this as pride, this always be the genesis of their talks which I care less about because it doesn't define who I am.
There was a time during my first year in school when I didn't know anyone yet, the few girls I made acquaintance with weren't who I thought they were. We do things together being freshers in school unknown to me that they see me differently and have been spreading rumors about me. They seemed so friendly and understanding but that was only a pretense that I am unaware of. An incident happened that exposed their real intentions, I was so disappointed that those I called my friends were the ones saying all sorts of untrue things about me behind me. I couldn't put up with such people which caused my reason to cut ties with them.
I believe every human has his or her flaws, and accommodating one another is the only way to live together in peace but in the process of peaceful coexistence, it is inappropriate to take advantage of one another's weakness. Another thing others do that pisses me off is the manipulation attitude, claiming not to be interested in something but deep down you want it badly. Misleading someone else just because you don't want them to be ahead of you or get what you want is a very bad attitude possessed by many out there. This attitude has ruined many homes, relationships, friendships, and lives, it has stood as a setback in the lives of many today.
Anyone with this selfish attitude always thinks the world is all about them alone, they care less about how others feel which is inhuman. Manipulating someone to get through life isn't success assured but people with this attitude don't know this. What will be will be no matter how much we try to delay someone else, fate will still play its part no matter how long. Anyone who possesses these two attitudes cannot be anywhere close to me because I see them as being wicked and I never want their toxicity to affect me. These attitudes do get me annoyed and pissed off each time I see someone who possesses such attitudes.
