At the 2026 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, a company decided to attract attention in a very different way. Chinese manufacturer Honor took the stage and presented its first humanoid robot. And the demonstration was anything but discreet. The robot entered the stage along with human dancers and performed a complete choreography to the rhythm of Imagine Dragons.
This project is part of the so-called Alpha Plan, a strategy that combines three pillars, Alpha Phone, a new concept of device capable of physically interacting with the environment, Alpha Store, a platform where different smart devices will be able to connect, share information and research in new hardware technologies, including advanced batteries, new materials and robotics.
