Today was a busy day for @rentmoney. Errands needed to be done, bills needed to be paid and numerous other activities took place as well. In other-words; I was forced to do responsible adult things today (Yuck!). Now its back to posting about Splinterlands and figuring out where to park/ trade or invest the next chunk of disposable funds that might be waiting to do such a thing. One of those places might be in Chaos Legion Packs but is it a good idea? As one of the Hiven's here on the Hive Blockchain pointed out to me; soon the CHAOS Legion cards will be removed from modern play. When that happens to a set it usually means that sets NFT's take a dip in USD worth. If the cards take a dip; its a reasonable assumption to assume so will the NFT Packs that the dipping cards are associated with. But at $0.40, its hard to believe they would dip much lower. Then of course we need to consider trade volume. As packs get older the less 24hr trade volume they seem to have and I already have a few thousand in my bag (With this consideration, Do I really need more?). NFT Set Trade volume shrinkage happens for a number of reasons. One of those reasons Chaos Legion doesn't have to worry about (Scarcity: There's plenty of CL Packs in circulation). I believe these packs are so affordable that even with the CL Cards being removed from modern play players will still opt to purchase the CL Packs just because of their affordability. At $0.40 a pop a person could purchase and open 10 Packs for just $4.00 USD compared to the one pack that is purchased directly from Splinterlands (when the new set becomes available). Opening 10 packs is much more fun compared to opening one. Its an interesting situation that I'll be keeping my eye on to see how it unfolds. Now lets move on to how a Chaos Legion Pack is roaming around this post and will likely find a new home.

Since this post isn't a giveaway post I'm going to restrain myself from saying just that.
