Its the 15th and everyone knows what that means (It's Leo Power-Up Day). What is Leo Power-Up day? It's a day that those in the LeoFinance community collectively power-up some Leo Tokens to show support for the community in which we all enjoy interacting with. I missed (more than one) power-up days this year but thankfully today won't be one of them. Lets go see how much liquid Leo I have in my LeoDex wallet.
After going to LeoDex I see a continuous loading screen. I'm on an old work PC and figure its likely something on my end so lets go check Hive-Engine.
Gulp, Hive-Engine is showing all my tokens at 0 (this isn't good). I have slight panic as the thought of someone whipping out my tokens slowly creeps into my mind. Lets go check my official LeoDex wallet on Leofinance (inleo.io).
Well my worries of being cleaned out have been put to ease. Looks like the Hive-Dex's are under some maintenance (or the issue could still possibly be on my end) and will likely be back in full force shortly. A normal occurrence for any app. So now what? Will I miss another Leo Power-Up Day (Possibly) but I'll check back in some time to see if everything is sorted and make a power-up. This post as with the majority of my posts is written in real time and using the blog style of free-writing (meaning no prep work just typing as we go). If I checked LeoDex/Hive-Engine/Leo Wallets first its likely this post wouldn't of come to fruitation but I started a post and darnnit I'm going to commit to making one.

Now that we got all that out of the way lets continue my post. Keeping with the Leo Token theme I guess this would be a good time to go over my Leo Token goals. Its been awhile since I reviewed my goals but I believe the goal I set at the start of this year was to reach 10,000 Leo Tokens (or more) by years end. Its currently 10/15/2023 and I have not reached that goal yet. I been a slacker the past few months but I believe I still have a chance to reach that 10,000 Staked Leo Mark. I will need for some things to line up correctly as I intended on funding that goal with earnings from my blog posts and by selling some of my Splinterlands assets but looking at the markets; selling Splinterlands assets at current time doesn't look very appealing. For now I'll just play it by ear and keep a close eye on the Leo Token and my other assets. I'm getting to 10,000 Leo Tokens one way or another.
As with the Leo Token I also have a goal to increase my Hive Token Holdings. After-all the Leo Community and many other great apps and communities are built on the Hive-Blockchain. If they are to be a success the general HIVE Community and over-all Hive Blockchain will also benefit from such success. Meaning, if I was a betting man (and I am) I would place a bet on the HIVE Token's USD value to increase well above the $0.30* cent mark its at today. For me the only question is when does that happen (a post for another time). Some might not like seeing HIVE at $0.30 cents but for me (when considering market conditions) that is a decent and strong price point. I can't wait to see what the next bull run brings and if the HIVE Token will reach new highs.
I'll come back and edit in a power-up if the Dex's are back up and running in time for me to participate in Leo Power-Up Day. If not there's always next month; adios for now.
