So I've been jiggling about the base PP on my tract to try and get ahead of the new resource types in play for Land 1.75.
I'm hoping to carry on harvesting some SPS and RESEARCH, but I'm clearly gonna have to reduce the PP I've got devoted to them because now it's gonna be roughly treble the base PP required on Grain and the new resources.
I think the resource requirements are actually simple - it's all about base PP. You need = PP on grain to match all other plots producing whatever else. And in addition = base PP stone/wood/ ore to the base PP on yr research and sps slots.
I've already started jiggling...

The plots I got!
- 47 GRAIN (Mainly water, earth and death)
- 5 ORE (Mainly fire!)
- 7 Wood (Mainly Earth!)
- 27 Stone (Life and Dragon)
- 4 Occupied (SPS)
- 12 Magical (Research)

Production Rates Per Production Point Per Hour (BASE PP)
I used this post to get the information of what you get per production point.....
- Grain – 0.02 (unchanged)
- Wood – 0.005
- Stone – 0.002
- Iron – 0.0005
Costs to harvest Wood, Stone and Ore....

So I am gonna need equivalent base PP on Grain to harvest wood, stone and ore...

For example if I have 500K PP a combination of Ore, Stone and Wood, I will need 500K PP on Grain in the first instance (I think!)
COSTS TO HARVEST SPS and research... (BASE PP)
These are the same as the base costs above.
Every 1 base Production Point spent per hour toward production will consume
- 0.005 Wood
- 0.002 Stone
- 0.0005 Iron
So then in addition to the above, for every 500K Base PP I have on SPS and Research I am gonna need 500K base PP on grain....
AND... I'll need equivalent Base PP for all of Wood, stone and Iron.
Further thoughts...
I'll probably aim to stack some Wood/ Stone/ Ore and grain too for the future...
So I may want to have MORE on those and grain compared to SPS/ Research harvesting!
Final thoughts...
To keep harvesting SPS and Research I think I and anyone else will need... 3000 BASE PP on Grain for every 1000 Base PP on research or SPS....
