Halloween a la vuelta de la esquina

Los pasos agigantados de Halloween van haciendo eco en los tímpanos de quienes esperan con gran expectativa y alegría, el momento en que pueden transformarse en lo que siempre han soñado: criaturas horripilantes, héroes, personajes de cuentos de hadas y un sinfín de otros más.
El color naranja invade una vez al año las ciudades, que se transforman en lugares surrealistas y escalofriantes con las decoraciones respectivas de esta fecha especial. Les comparto la foto de un horrible Frankenstein, que da la bienvenida a los visitantes, con un escalofrío de Halloween. Su gesto terrorífico junto con ese color verde da un toque siniestro, al amigo incomprendido que ha quedado eternizado en los anales terroríficos de esta fecha.
Caminando por aquel lugar, me encontré con un espantapájaros horripilante, de esqueléticos brazos, ropas harapientas, una calabaza con un horrible aspecto, recordándonos que Halloween llega con su fantasía, escalofrío y el lado oscuro que cada de uno posee, en menor o mayor proporción. Me gustaron mucho las calabazas al pie de nuestro terrorífico amigo, tienen una sonrisa de aspecto inocente, pero que en el fondo ocultan algo siniestro y sus ojos triangulares lo dejan entrever.
Finalmente una decoración encantadora de globos de colores negros, blancos y naranjas, junto a ellos los símbolos inconfundibles de esta fecha. Esqueletos simpáticos que parecen bailar al son de melodías escalofriantes. Calabazas enormes mostrando una gran sonrisa siniestra, dándole la bienvenida a Halloween. Brujas esqueléticas con gesto aterrador, mostrando que son las reinas de esta época. Y como olvidar a la famosa Catrina, directo desde la cultura mexicana, que se ha convertido en la nueva sensación del horror, del culto a la muerte y el escalofrío.
En esta época, no se pueden dejar de lado los suvenires o decoraciones que se encuentran a la venta. Los disfraces que son la parte fundamental de esta celebración y con los cuales, muchos viven sus más grandes fantasías y por un año se sienten libres de expresarse, de salir de esta realidad rutinaria y darle un nuevo tinte a sus vidas, aunque sea por un momento.
Las decoraciones no pueden faltar, con ellas se convierte a los lugares rutinarios en escenarios espantosos y que pueden causar terror a los corazones débiles. La oscuridad viste cada casa, edificio, locales comerciales, oficinas, restaurantes, entre otros, lugares que anualmente reciben al horror, la fantasía y lo sobrenatural, decorados con las decoraciones propias de la fecha y que cada año se vuelven más y más importantes para recibir a los visitantes.
Y por último, no puedo olvidar lo que hace de Halloween algo más que espeluznante, un día de deliciosos dulces en envoltorios coloridos y terroríficos: gomitas, paletas, panes, dulces ácidos, chocolates y demás. En Halloween se transforman en el botín que chicos y grandes buscan como premios a una jornada de caminar por las calles, entre cánticos pedigüeños y recipientes o bolsas, que sirven para recolectar los preciosos dulces. El dulzor de Halloween se transforma en recompensa, que pintan sonrisas en los rostros, ya sean escalofriantes, bonachones, todos por igual reciben lo dado, sin discriminación y con una alegría cordial entre el que da y recibe, porque Halloween más allá de lo siniestro, es un compartir de cordialidad, un momento donde todos dejamos la hostilidad rutinaria y nos dejamos llevar por el espíritu del compartir, entre sonrisas, bromas y cordialidad.
Hasta aquí mi pequeño aporte a la iniciativa del mes de Halloween en la comunidad de espantos y como cantan en mi país: "Triki, triki, Halloween, dame dulces para mí, si no hay dulces para mí, se te crece la nariz". Ñaca, ñaca.

The major strides toward Halloween resonate in the ears of those who await it with great anticipation and joy, the moment when they can transform into what they have always dreamed of: horrifying creatures, heroes, fairy tale characters and endless others.
The orange color invades the cities once a year, which are transformed into surreal and chilling places with the respective decorations of this special date. I share with you the photo of a horrible Frankenstein, who welcomes visitors, with a Halloween shiver. His terrifying gesture together with that green color gives a sinister touch to the misunderstood friend who has remained eternalized in the terrifying annals of this date.
Walking through that place, I came across a horrifying scarecrow, with skeletal arms, ragged clothes, a pumpkin with a horrible appearance, reminding us that Halloween comes with its fantasy, chills and the dark side that everyone has, in greater or lesser proportion. I really liked the pumpkins at the foot of our terrifying friend, they have an innocent-looking smile, but deep down they hide something sinister and their triangular eyes let us glimpse it.
Finally, a charming decoration of black, white and orange balloons, along with the unmistakable symbols of this date. Cute skeletons that seem to dance to creepy tunes. Huge pumpkins showing a big sinister smile, welcoming Halloween. Skeletal witches with scary gesture, showing that they are the queens of this time. And how to forget the famous Catrina, straight from the Mexican culture, which has become the new sensation of horror, of the cult of death and chills.
At this time, you can not leave aside the souvenirs or decorations that are on sale. The costumes that are the fundamental part of this celebration and with which, many live their greatest fantasies and for a year they feel free to express themselves, to get out of this routine reality and give a new tint to their lives, even for a moment.
The decorations cannot be missing, with them routine places are turned into frightening scenarios and that can cause terror to weak hearts. The darkness dresses every house, building, commercial premises, offices, restaurants, among others, places that annually receive horror, fantasy and the supernatural, decorated with the decorations of the date and that every year become more and more important to receive visitors.
And, finally, I cannot forget what makes Halloween something more than just spooky—a day of delicious treats in colorful, frightening wrappers: gummies, popsicles, breads, sour candies, chocolates and so on. On Halloween, they become the bounty that children and adults seek as a reward after a day spent roaming the streets—accompanied by chants to solicit treats and the use of containers or bags designed for collecting such prized sweets. The sweetness of Halloween is transformed into a reward, which paint smiles on the faces, whether they are creepy, good-natured, everyone equally receives what is given, without discrimination and with a cordial joy between the giver and receiver, because Halloween beyond the sinister, is a sharing of cordiality, a moment where we all leave the routine hostility and let ourselves be carried away by the spirit of sharing, between smiles, jokes and cordiality.
So far my little contribution to the Halloween month initiative in the community of scares and as they sing in my country: "Triki, triki, Halloween, give me candy for me, if there is no candy for me, your nose grows." Boooo
