¿Vendrás a verme?
Jiji.
—Eres muy traviesa. No voy a despreciar semejante invitación. Jaja.
«Vivianita me estás aburriendo».
No te perdonaré... —, Viviana sonaba ofuscada.
—Joven, vine a traerles algunas cositas.

Interest, how much are you worth?
'Life is good, there is nothing that can worry me,' Gustavo thought as he raised his arms and smiled nonchalantly.
Gustavo had been born in a golden cradle, where everyone was at his feet. His father had built an empire in the car industry. Throughout his life, Gustavo had had what he wanted: women, fine clothes, food from the best restaurants, travel. It had all been excesses and debauchery. A life that any mortal would have wanted to have.
The cell phone was ringing.
"Gustavo, my love. Will you come and see me?" A sensual voice sounded that shook the man's eardrums.
"Viviana, my love, notice that I'm not going to be able to I have a very important commitment."
"Well, honey, I'll be waiting for you for dinner. I'm going to make you something delicious and to eat too. Hehe."
"You're very naughty. I will not scorn such an invitation. Haha."
Gustavo said goodbye to Viviana and went back to sleep. The cell phone was ringing again.
'Vivianita, you're boring me.' He thought as he picked up the cell phone.
"Old man, we're going to a party tonight. Some moms are going to have a heart attack," Donald urged his friend.
"I can't, I'm going to have dinner with Viviana."
"Don't tell me they've already put the noose around your neck? Haha."
"None of that and just so you see, I'm coming with you tonight. Confirm them all. Haha"
"That's the Gus I know. Haha."
Gustavo sprang up like an arrow and headed for the kitchen.
"Doris, lovely sunshine, make me breakfast, please."
"Oh, young man, you're always so funny. Haha."
Gustavo was sitting in the glass dining room with elegant white chairs. At that moment, Gustavo's father came in desperate and crying.
"It can't be, it can't be. May the earth open up and swallow me up!"
"Father, what's wrong with you?"
"My son, the misfortune...! The misfortune...!" He spoke in a halting, desperate manner.
"What are you saying?" Gustavo was taking the father by the shoulders.
"Son, we're broke. I lost all our capital on the new serial car. We have nothing left." The father was crying inconsolably.
"Don't worry, Father, we still have the properties, the cars and everything else..."
The father let out a pitiful moan and cried on his son's chest.
"We're practically on the street. We have a week to get out of the house."
Gustavo felt a horrible tingling rising from his stomach and his face suddenly turned pale.
"It can't be, we have to do something."
"There's nothing left to do. Just to start over," the father was speaking in a broken voice.
After a week, Gustavo and his father had to move to a small apartment in the poorest area of the city. Gustavo was now deprived of everything and lived with austerity.
"Donald, my dear friend. I was calling to ask you to help us."
"Hi, Gus, I'm really sorry about what happened with your dad. How can I help you?"
"I wanted to know if you can lend me some money."
At that moment, the communication was suddenly cut off. Gustavo scored again, but there was no response. He called Viviana with whom he had not had communication.
"Hi, Viviana, my little love."
"Don't talk to me anymore, besides standing me up that day... I won't forgive you...," Viviana sounded obfuscated.
"No, it's what you think. It's just that something terrible happened." Gustavo was letting out a distressing sob.
"What happened?"
"We lost everything. Now we are living in a small apartment. We don't have enough to eat," Gustavo sounded distressed. "I wanted to ask you to lend me money, while we recover, please."
At that moment, the call was suddenly cut off. Gustavo tried several times to call, but did not get an answer. He called all his friends, even acquaintances, but no one helped him, despite the fact that he had lent money to all of them, invited them to parties, to eat and to enjoy his fortune in one way or another.
Now he realized that they had no one and it was their turn to get up again, this new reality hit Gustavo and his father hard, but at that moment, a light of hope suddenly appeared.
There was a knock on the apartment door. Gustavo answered the call.
"Sir, Gustavo, how are you?" Dory showed up with some white bags.
"Doris, what a joy" Gustavo was hugging the woman.
"Young man, I came to bring you some little things."
Gustavo and his father let out some tears and hugged Doris. She gave them some money and offered to get them a job. They started from scratch and gradually got up. The father opened a modest car workshop and Gustavo learned the mechanics, together they worked hard and had a comfortable life again, but now they looked with different eyes at success and the people who came to them again, and yes, Doris was rewarded and an eternal gratitude from the men who were about to fall into the abyss. Now they learned to value selfless people and give them the value they deserve.
