Sometimes I just need to get away from all the noise and be somewhere quiet.
Life after high school hasn't looked exactly how I imagined it. I thought I would already be studying law, meeting new people and taking my first steps toward becoming a lawyer. Instead, I've had to learn something I wasn't expecting: patience.
I still want that future. So much.
But I'm also learning that I don't have to spend every day worrying about how fast I'm getting there. Some days can simply be about enjoying the sunshine, being outside, clearing my head and remembering that I'm still young.
My dream isn't going anywhere.
I'll find my way to it, even if my path takes a little longer than I planned. 🍃
