Looking at this photo, I had a funny thought… I actually look a little like the lawyer I want to become someday. 😅
Okay, maybe the leather jacket isn't exactly courtroom attire, but there's something about this picture that makes me feel confident.
For a long time, becoming a lawyer has felt like this huge dream somewhere far in the distance. I know I still have a lot to overcome before I can afford university, and sometimes thinking about all of it at once is overwhelming.
So I'm trying to focus on smaller things.
Keep creating. Keep learning. Keep believing that what I'm doing today can eventually help me pay for the education I want.
I don't know exactly how I'll get there yet, but I know where I want to go.
And today, for just a second, I could almost see that future version of myself. 🖤
