Just like everyday, she has just finished her work in the afternoon. It was a sunny day. She went outside with her outfit, a bonnet covering her head, a long dark colored dress and an white apron in front of it. She took her shoes and walked barefooted. Just few minutes away was her relaxation spot. She opened the birdseeds bag that she had with her and started distributing it on the ground. It seemed like the birds were just waiting close by, to an extent that it seems as if they were just waiting for her to feed them. Different kind of birds gather around, feeding on those seeds and chirping. She was looking at them and reflecting on her day. Dreaming of the day that she finishes her housemaid's duties, when it would be just over. There was always that sound within her head that just keeps saying: "Everyone has their time. It maybe somewhere in the future. Just free as a bird".

Como todos os dias, ela acabara de terminar o trabalho da tarde. Era um dia ensolarado. Saiu de casa com sua roupa habitual: um gorro cobrindo a cabeça, um longo vestido escuro e um avental branco por cima. Calçou os sapatos e caminhou descalça. A poucos minutos dali ficava seu lugar de descanso. Abriu o saco de alpiste que carregava e começou a espalhá-lo no chão. Parecia que os pássaros estavam por perto, como se estivessem esperando que ela os alimentasse. Diferentes tipos de pássaros se reuniam ao redor, alimentando-se das sementes e cantando. Ela os observava e refletia sobre o seu dia. Sonhava com o dia em que terminaria suas obrigações como empregada doméstica, quando tudo finalmente acabaria. Havia sempre aquela voz em sua mente que repetia: "Todos têm seu tempo. Talvez seja em algum lugar no futuro. Livre como um pássaro".
