A white dog, a yellow ball and ground covered in grass. He was looking forward, seeing the smile of his pet, the ball he bought to play with him that reminds him that he has not played with him for a while and the beautiful green ground. He is thinking again that it has been six years of living alone. Or, was it just yesterday? He still remembers it clearly when each one of his family members was there for the last time. The last gathering. It is just an old man with his pet. A creature that is good with filling this void with joy. But, he is still wondering, is any of it real? Is he still here, or did he just leave with everybody else? He looks over to the small wooden house. It looks more like a room built in the woods than a house. There is a chair inside and the TV is still on. He looked around for a bit and thought, does anything become real once others can see it too? Do senses need validation, just like what's inside of each one of us?

Um cachorro branco, uma bola amarela e o chão coberto de grama. Ele olhava para frente, vendo o sorriso do seu animal de estimação, a bola que comprara para brincar com ele, que o lembrava de que não brincava com ele há tempos, e o belo gramado verde. Pensava novamente que já fazia seis anos que vivia sozinho. Ou será que foi ontem? Ainda se lembrava claramente de quando cada um de seus familiares estava lá pela última vez. O último encontro. Era apenas um velho com seu animal de estimação. Uma criatura que preenchia bem esse vazio com alegria. Mas ele ainda se perguntava: será que tudo aquilo era real? Será que ele ainda estava ali, ou já tinha ido embora com todos os outros? Olhou para a pequena casa de madeira. Parecia mais um cômodo construído na floresta do que uma casa. Havia uma cadeira lá dentro e a TV ainda estava ligada. Olhou ao redor por um instante e pensou: será que algo se torna real quando os outros também podem ver? Será que os sentidos precisam de validação, assim como o que está dentro de cada um de nós?
