Almost everyone in the crypto world is eagerly awaiting the Bitcoin halving, and it's only approximately two days away from now. In Splinterlands, Baron’s Bounty celebrates the upcoming Bitcoin halving with a whole host of prime prizes, as well as a pair of promo cards. The Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Event has begun on April 16 and the event was scheduled to run for 15 days so from now there are only 13 days left to participate in this exciting event.
We only have 13 days left to participate in this exciting event and buy Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer to earn chances for some amazing prizes. We will be able to purchase these two great new limited edition promo cards for DEC tokens or Credits, with the option to halve the price by using Vouchers throughout the event. Once the event ends, we will no longer be able to purchase Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer cards in packs and will only be able to purchase them from other players on peer-to-peer markets. therefore, in my opinion, it is more advantageous to buy these cards during the event period, and considering that we also earn chances for some amazing prizes when we buy card(s) during the event period, it definitely seems more advantageous for me to buy them during the event period.
During the Baron's Bounty Bitcoin Halving Event, we will be able to purchase a single copy of the Legendary card Baron Fyatt for 31,250 DEC/Credits and a single copy of the Rare card Henchling Enforcer for 3,125 DEC/Credits. After the Bitcoin halving, the block reward will be 3,125 BTC, so as a Bitcoin lover, I liked the card prices. Additionally, every card purchased has a 4% chance of being Gold Foil, and you are guaranteed to receive at least one Gold Foil version of the card for each 25 cards purchased in a single transaction.
Let's briefly review the cards.
Henchling Enforcer is a Rare card that can attack the target with ranged attacks, has Halving Ability at level 1, True Strike Ability at level 4, and Camouflage Ability at level 7.
Baron Fyatt is a Legendary card that can attack the target with magic attacks, has Halving Ability and Scattershot Ability at level 1, Ambush Ability at level 3, and Blind Ability at level 4.
Both have very powerful abilities and are great cards equipped with my favorite abilities that I need most in battles, so I will include both of them in my deck. I especially love the Halving Ability because it is a special ability that can give my team an advantage while harrowing my opponents in battles. The first time a Monster with the Halving Ability hits a target, that target's attack is cut in half (rounded down). The Halving Ability can disrupt my opponents' strategies and provide a great advantage to my team in battle.
The Scattershot Ability makes Baron Fyatt a more special card because since it has the Scattershot Ability, it will attack a random target each round, so when I imagine the possibility of hitting a different target each round, this will be really brutal for my opponents. Baron Fyatt is a monster that can upset even the most powerful teams, and I believe that Baron Fyatt will be a great help to me in winning the toughest battles.
It is truly incredible to have Halving, True Strike and Camouflage abilities on one card, so having the Henchling Enforcer in my team will upset my opponents. I definitely want to have the max level of both cards.
With this exciting event we have the opportunity to purchase Baron Fyatt and Henchling Enforcer cards as well as the to earn chances for some amazing prizes. Here are those amazing prizes.
First of all, there are some important advantages to buying early. We receive 1 point for every DEC or Credit we spend, and we’ll receive triple multiplier when spending tokens, and the multiplier will decrease evenly each day until the last day. On the first day of the event there was a 3x point multiplier, now the multiplier is 2.71x and the multiplier will decrease each day, linearly, until it reaches 1x on the last day of the event.
