Kid A is the fourth studio album by English Rock band Radiohead. The album was released on October 2, 2000 by Parlophone Records. Recorded between January 4, 1999 and April 18, 2000. It was produced by Nigel Godrich and Radiohead. The album contains 11 tracks, one of which is hidden and untitled.
Kid A was a successful album both commercially and critically. It debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart. It also reached number one on the US Billboard 200, selling over 207,000 copies in its first week. Kid A has topped many lists, with many ranking it as the greatest album of the 2000s. It won the Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album and was also nominated for the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Radiohead really did an amazing job. Kid A album is one of the truly successful and unique albums. Kid A is a uniquely fearless rock record and remains one of the most striking sonic makeovers in music history. The album has great songs such as "Idioteque", "How To Disappear Completely", "Everything In Its Right Place", frankly, they are all great songs.

On this album, Radiohead used instruments such as modular synthesizers, ondes Martenot, brass and strings, and processed guitar sounds, combined samples and loops, and modified their recordings with software. Radiohead did not release any singles or music videos, instead released short animations and became one of the first major acts to use the internet for promotional purposes. They produced a truly wonderful work.
