25 is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Adele. The album was released on November 20, 2015 by XL Recordings and Columbia Records. The album is titled as a reflection of of Adele's life and frame of mind at the age of 25 and has been termed a "make-up record". According to Adele's statements in an interview with Rolling Stone, the lyrics content features themes of her "yearning for her old self, her nostalgia", and "melancholia about the passage of time", as well as themes of motherhood, new love and regret. Additionally, the production of the album 25 incorporated the use of electronic elements and creative rhythmic patterns, with elements of 1980s R&B and organs.
Four singles were released to promote the album 25, one of which, "Hello", became an international number one song and the fastest-selling digital single in the US, selling over one million copies within a week of its release. "Send My Love (To Your New Lover)" charted in the top 10, while "When We Were Young" and "Water Under the Bridge" charted in the top 20 in Europe and North America.
25 received generally positive reviews from music critics, who praised its production and Adele's vocal performance. Additionally, the album was a major commercial success, debuting at number one in 32 countries and breaking first-week sales records in many countries, including the UK and the US. n the US, the album sold over 3.38 million copies in its first week of sales, the largest single-week sales for an album since Luminate Data began tracking point-of-sale music purchases in 1991. 25 became the world's best-selling album of 2015, selling 17.4 million copies during the year. It has also sold more than 23 million copies worldwide, making it the fourth best-selling album of the 21st century, the second best-selling album of the 2010s (behind Adele's 21), and one of the best-selling albums of all time. Additionally, 25 was certified Diamond by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), following 21, making Adele the only artist to achieve this certification with two albums in the 2010s. Adele has a stunning voice and I truly enjoy listening to her captivating voice. No matter what kind of song she sings, her voice relaxes me. There are great songs in the "25" album, to be honest, I like all of them, but I can say that the song I listen to the most is "Hello".

Four years after the release of 21, Adele made an explosive return with "Hello". Is there more powerful flexibility than taking a word as common and universal as "Hello" and taking ownership of it?
