Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog. This is an entry into the splinterlands social media challenge. As usual I don’t have anything different to write so I’ll be doing a battle. You know when I am writing about a particular battle it means I enjoyed it.

Yes, I know it’s supposed to take some people through some of the Tactics which I do talk about but someone might like to see me write about that failed battle which I think I’ll not do as well. I like to win and so when I win I like to flaunt it lol. This days I try as much to also write about battles where I tried different things as well.

So today I’ll be writing about a rare ruleset which I get. This is a Ruleset which seems to leave me wondering which summoner and cards I should use.

This is the heavy metal ruleset. Thus Ruleset means you can only summon armored units. Well, I wouldn’t have been against it so much but it was paired with the reverse speed Ruleset as well.

I had all the elements at my disposal so I had to look through cause I had no advantage here. With a mana of 32 it was even harder. They give you a huge Ruleset but the cards available to me won’t make the cut.

I finally ended up going with the death element and then going with the Thaddius brood summoner. This summoner has 4 mana and it reduced 1 magic and 1 health from the opponent.

In the first position I had the harklaw melee summoner which has just 2 speed. It was the best I could do since I had no melee cards with 1 speed at my disposal. The singular reason why I went for this card is because it has the shield ability, which means when a melee card attacks it its damage is reduced by 50%.

Next was the djinn muirat magic card. With the void magic and magic reflect ability it was the best to look out for in my opinion.

Lastly I went in for usut. A card with 1 speed, the flying ability and the bloodlust at its disposal.

My opponent made the mistake of coming in with a card which increased his speed as well. When I saw this I immediately knew I had 70% of winning the game. I was slightly worried because of his opportunity cards and trample ability as well.

The game panned out differently as his seemed to miss my cards a lot. A lot of them misses was due to the fact that he had card with huge speeds.

The game played out nicely all though I am not still good with this Ruleset.
