Hi movie lovers,
So it’s been a minute since I reviewed a movie. It’s just that the urge to watch movies has vanished from inside me. I already said it sometime ago that since I am not a movie lover it’ll take a while for me to start getting used to watching movies like the movie lovers do.
For now, I’ve found a bit of inspiration in downloading 2025 movies that I’ve come across and taken interest in it. Yesterday I was able to complete watching a movie that I’ve been watching for about 3 days and I think it’s worth talking about. For some time now I’ve been watching a lot of Nigerian movies which I seem to have enjoyed watching.
Last week I watched a much talked about movie on the internet from omoni oboli tv which I know that the chances of you watching this movie are also high. I didn’t have the urge to talk about it so I didn’t.
Today I’ll be talking about a romantic movie which features Indians and nollywood actors. This is like a colab between Hollywood and Bollywood and well all I can say is they did a great job. For majority of the movie you’ll hear them speak English which gives you the image that the movie directors want to push this movie out of the bollyhood scene onto the Hollywood scene.
The movie is titled picture this. Picture this features stars like Simone Ashley, hero fiennes and sindhu vee. If you’ve watched before you and after you you’ll definitely know the hero fiennes that I am talking about. Simone Ashley is also a popular character in sex education as well.
Picture this was released in the year 2025. It was written by Nikita Lalwani, Nathan Ramos-Park and Shuang Hu. It was directed by Prarthana Mohan.
Picture this is a movie about a young girl named Pia who is a struggling photographer who is also struggling in the field of love after letting her first love go to pursue her dream of becoming a successful photographer. Pia’s parents who are the typical Indian parents who want to see their daughter married sets up all diabolical means for her to meet a suitable husband.
Pia’s parents come all out on her when her younger sister readies to get married and pia on the other hand has no one to show to them. The story line takes shape when the wedding preparations are on its way.
Well, I think this story line is a weird one. I saw it’s a weird one cause as usual they make pia’s best friend a male but then unnecessarily make him a gay. I will never understand why her best friend can’t be a normal male without being gay.
If you’ve read my reviews you’ll know that I don’t like unnecessary plots and characters and one of them was her best friend. Another thing that I don’t like is the fact that they make it so easy for Pia to kiss anyone at will. This is one thing that I don’t like in the movie. Kissing is one thing but putting pia out as someone who’ll just kiss anyone cause she has a heart beat is crazy to me.
I’ll go ahead and rate this movie a 6.5/10. A 6.5 from me is generous even though I think the story line is a messed up one. From all indications you’ll know how the movie will end when you watch up to 30 minutes but it’s worth watching.
