Hi guys,

Welcome to my blog for this weeks entry into the splinterlands battle mage contest. Like every other week, splinterlands gives us a Ruleset that we can write on that we used in battles. This is good for people who have not much funds to invest in the game as they can use the proceeds from this battle mage and social media contests to invest back into the game.

The ruleset for this week is super sneak ability.

The super sneak ability is a confusing Ruleset if you don’t know how to go about it. The thing is we have a sneak ability and then we have the super sneak ability. The super sneak ability means that all melee units in your team gain this ability. What this means is that all melee cards will look to attack all melee cards in your opponent’s team who are not in the first positions. Essentially what this does is to attack melee cards from the last position upwards.

There are a lot of ways to approach this type of game. For me I have mine and I’ll show you how.

When I have the luxury of a big game mana I go in for cards who have the retaliate ability. After going in for retaliate I go in for cards that have the thorns ability.

Since this game mana was 28 I was fortunate to also have the equaliser Ruleset in play. This allowed me to go in for low mana cards and have the luxury to get in as many cards cause I could get their health up as well.

I have to go in for the death element as I didn’t have the water element in play.

The summoner I went for was Thaddius brood.
My first card was cursed windeku, a card with the heal ability, thorns ability and also a melee card.

The next card was uraes, a card with the position ability who made me go in for this as well.

Next in line was corpse fiend. A card I went for because it has low mana(0) and the silence ability.

Next card was Arachine thug, witu a special ability of trample.

Next was showdow snitch with the affliction ability as a special one.

Last card was ever hungry skull. I especially came for this card because it has 11 shield which was going to make it really hard to kill.

I went in for only melee us it’s as I anticipated my opponent will do same and it turns out I was wrong; but he did come with a lot of melee cards.
Let’s rumble.

Round one turned out to be pretty boring as it was an endless attacks here and there with no significant damage to any of the cards. He made sure my cursed windeku couldn’t heal anymore as it was afflicted.

It turns out I took most of the hits as one of my cards was left with just 3 health.

Round 2 has a little big of success as able to kill one of his cards who has the retaliate ability. Even after dying it was still able to make one round of attack but it missed.

After that success in round 2, I was able to perform another successful kill in round 3. It was my trample card who made the kill so after it performed another round of attack but it missed.

Each round began that way as I killed his cards in each round and he could only kill one of my cards in round 4 and round 5.

After that I was able to deal with his last card in round 7.

The decision to go in for all melee cards and then to put in a thorns card in the last position was a good one.

I enjoyed this battle because of how it turned out especially.
