Hello Chess players on Hive, earlier today, we played the seventeenth round of the weekly Saturday HiveChess Tournament. Today’s tournament was a thematic one. Everybody’s game started with the King’s Indian Defense starting position. This was in memory of the late King’s Indian expert, GM Daniel Naroditsky

Congratulations to @poseout87, also known as the man from Spain on Lichess. He won today’s event with a 100% win rate! It doesn’t surprise me much, as he is one of the best King’s Indian players in Nigeria. He only plays the KID, and against e4, the Pirc which is similar. Second place went to IM @maestroask, while @dakods came third. It was also nice to see CM @eniolw participating today.
