The idea of impactful content isn't one that I've heard quite often nor is it one that's always been on my mind.
I've always produced contents according to my whim and creative contents and never once did I willingly try to appear impactful and purposeful in my two years of writing here...

Regardless, this prompt and topic has got me thinking of impactful content and wondering at just what one gets to impact when he sets up his writing pad, podcast mic or video editor.
The idea of an impactful digital content is a content that brings the creator and audience closer.
Content which moves and builds up an emotion in the audience, content that the audience can relate with.

At such it's even more diverse and complicated than that.
What if a creator sets out his mind to create a content that'll make his audience rolling in laughter but in reality, they take it with grief.

Is it still an impactful content?

I, for one, believe that a content being impactful doesn't depend on the creator but in the audience themselves.
On the digital space, I've come across loads of content that have made an impression on me albeit the wrong one.
Comedy that's made me think and theorize instead of laughing, movie scenes of death and grief that filled me with awe and admiration, songs of joy and love that's made me disgusted and almost throw up.

I have also come across loads of impactful content where the emotions I believe intended by the creator is exactly what I got.

The redemption scene of Melt in episode 6 of the second of Oshi No Ko is one of the most recent that really moved me. (It hasn't been cutted out by YouTubers yet, so you could check the episode and scroll to 16:14)
Another is Garp's Galaxy Impact...

The reason for the emotions impacted on viewers from these scenes are linked to the viewers closeness to the content characters and understanding of their actions. This understanding bridges the gap between them and helps the viewers to be able to relate with the media.

Although, that kind of impact can only been shown in media like shows with numerous episodes and animations, where there are a lot of things to help accentuate each other and move the viewer.
In songs, the ball game is so different.

With a small amount of time, and having to rely on only sound to be the medium for passing information, one has to be direct and straight to the point with what he wants to impact.
The wordplay, flow and meanings doesn't have to be too complex and the tunes or instruments must mix.
The song which I shared, is one that has impacted the most in me in as long as I can remember, I wonder if it'll impact anything in you...

The last media I'll share is a blog, I would have loved to share one of mine but there's one from a friend that I happened to read which had the maximum impact on me today.
While writing is a bit similar to songs, we don't usually have the musical feature to help in our emotions flow so as such we get creative with pictures or just hope on luck.
This lovely writer, has had some bad luck in her writing journey, riddled with numerous blocks and periods of inactivity, yet she decided to give it another try...
Reading it gave me hope and joy...

So these are the last four digital contents that have made an impact on me, as a writer I do hope someone would do something like this.
I do hope that you viewer who are reading this have an impact from one or all of my posts, even if it's not the impact I may have intended from it😂

I wonder what this blog may impact on you....

This is my entry into Day 5 of the #augustinleo monthly prompt posted by @leogrowth
